Yip
On the road from newtown down to ferrycarrig past carrig graveyard. They cleared away some of the overgrowth and refuse(!) and also dredged the channel on both sides of the bridge to help the river flow during heavy rain as the road regularly flooded.

looks like it could be enniscorthy, picture taken from riverside side or the river looking at the st senans side?? thats pic deadly in its own rights just for what it shows

That didn't take long - it's not captioned in the photo album but since he would have been staying at Kilgibbon, near Bree, I suspect that your right. I have a shed load of similar pics but sadly they are all heavily faded like this one. I think I may get some of them scanned to save them for posterity. I'll stick this one up just as an example but there's no way of guessing and its captioned anyway. I doubt anybody in the picture has any headaches now.
