    Hi all,

What target ammo do you typically feed your 0.308's? I've traditionally used 168gr but see alot of other shooters using 155gr.

Any difference / advantage between them?

The 155 is popular because it conforms with the rules for Palma & ICFRA/Imperial T/R and the 168 doesn't.

Bear in mind not all bullets of the same weight are the same, and bullet designs have evolved quite a bit over the years.

I was originally using 155gr and achieved great results. I tried out some 168gr and although i needed an extra 2.5 moa than the 155 i found more "consistancy" (for want of a better word) than the 155gr. Now it could all be in my head, but if i notice a difference, even if it is only mentally, but it helps me shoot better then i'll stick with it.

The father was using some 168gr also, but i had a few 155 gr and his rifle seems to suit them better, so he is going to stick with them. He has the Palma barrel as opposed to my heavy barrel. His is 1:13 to my 1:12 twist.
