Yeah, but we have so much work to do in history :( we have skimmed through ww2, but we have so much more to do if anyone is to get great grades.:(
We haven't even started ww2 yet!

We were so ahead in second year already had gotten into Irish history etc but then my teacher gave up and we watched movies and chatted in classes doubt he is going to finish the course doesn't seem like he is planning to...

I haven't started studying and I don't care which is awful! I'm not bothered by results either so that's not going to give me a kick to knuckle down and study...

We had to do the plantations for about 4 months because some people didnt get it. Which is fine, except they are now in pass and doing fine but they have screwed us for the jc.

We had our christmas tests not long before them so most people didnt bother to study that much! As long as you can waffle a bit you should be grand (:

What's not to get? Honestly history isn't complicated I don't get how people can say it's hard, learn the material and you'll do fine

Normally what I do especially for the essays, make them look a bit longer I wrote one in my history at christmas about Columbus and how he stole pineapples which probably isn't true but who can say its wrong!:pac:

I think its really down to people being lazy. Some people in my class are well able to do the work, but they don't put any effort in when they are at home and its just not fair for the people who actually do work!

lol I did that at christmas too for Wolftone! I just used the most descriptive and longs words I could think of :D

We always have Christmas exams and to be honest I'm glad we do.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 481 ✭✭alleystar

    No, I was so happy.

The added pressure of studying for the Christmas exams on top of the mocks would of sent me overboard.

Studying for christmas exams is one thing I never done.. I think it would be better to not have them because mocks are like any christmas or summer exam I've done unprepared for and not a bother/worry on me...

    Lucky for some, I suppose

I've only ever done first year christmas exams which were basically a doss.

I was worried about the mocks though. Now I think of the mocks as just a trial run. You can see your mistakes and correct them beore the real thing.

Why don't you do business.Did you choose not to do it or something? We have to do it here but I don't really mind it to much.

We have a choice of options, I do Music and Art. I chose not to do it because I prefer practical subjects.

All my friends that do it Everyone I know that does Business was told by his or her parents that he or she had to take it up; every one of them hates it :D

That being said I was forced to do Music because "since you know how to play the piano you'll do really well in it!". Um, no, it doesn't work like that XD

You are guaranteed for 2 of the ten theorums will come up and as well as that, there is a section where you need to use the theorums to solve problems.

    I think anyway.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,347 ✭✭✭Closed ac

Aw, maths isn't that bad! I quite like it actually. :p

Btw, would anyone have or know where to find some sample answers on prós or poems for HL Irish? I've lost the ones my teacher gave us & I'm kinda stuck.. :(
