Worst one i heard is "scoring". It implies more than sticking your tongue in someones mouth.
this was a conversation from ic last year in irish of course
boy 1: this jammy bas-tard has scored twice already and we've only been here on night.
boy 2: well i didn.t even want to score the second one.
    me: what?
boy 1: he met *girls name* at break during the classes and he met *girls name* on the bus.
    me: right...

Scoring implies exactly what "Meet" implies, people just stop using meet in around 4th year.

With regards to this thread — there really isn't a teenagers discussion forum, as I looked for it when I was posting because I wanted someone my age to answer the question.

Maybe we could ask for a Teenagers discussion forum?

There is a Teenager forum, but if I move it there, there are users that'd probably troll it a bit. Meh, if you guys want it moved over there just say.

One a side note, please try and keep on topic. if you wanna have a chat about people's names/irish college etc, fire ahead, but do it in the OT thread, not this one.

Paulplonk-please to not post in this thread again, if you do, I will ban you.

Yeah, sure that thread you started in C&H speaks for itself!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,419 ✭✭✭WanderingSoul

There's nothing wrong with being gay. :)

    What thread in C&H?

Never mind, I found it. :) That thread got really heated.

I started that thread. It started off as a discussion thread and then two users had a debate that became personal and killed the conversation. I have no problems with homosexuals but for the record, i'm straight

Yeah, it shows you that people do have problems with it why I don't know...

Yeah you keep telling yourself that ;)

I think its a man thing. I think Homosexuals threaten our manhood. Thats why guys are so touchy about being called gay when they aren't. We feel threatened /topic
back on topic, is there anything we missed when discussing this topic.

It's funny when people lie about it when they obviously haven't met someone. I stopped saying I've met people a couple of years ago. I just stopped caring. I like my life how it is. I have no need to "meet" people.

When I lied once the guy asked who. I was like "Ah sure you wouldn't know her".

"She's not a local girl". That worked for me once.

Also, "Somone in England when I lived there". It worked even thought I was 9 when I came over here.

That still made them go away. I don't care for it anymore. If they ask I tell them the truth.
