Yep. you just buy the food as if you were buying normal uncooked food in the supermarket and cook it at home yourself. I would highly recommend it. Its great for a nice cosy meal in!

M&S dine for 2 going fast in Blanchardstown

There was barely anything last night about 8. New delivery in this morning but going quickly.... Very few Millionaire's Shortbread left (mmmm!!)

Peanuthead - This is practically cheaper than two adult meals at McDonalds... And much nicer! :)

    this item:
"Kentish Bramley Apple & Blackberry Puff Pastry Pie"
    god damn that was tasty.

Has anyone tried the soft brews yet?
    I tried the apple one.
Its.... interesting, nice going in, but on odd aftertaste.
I'm not sure I'm gone on them

Tried the citrus & the blackcurrant. They're ok but the yeasty aftertaste is odd.

The Moroccan fish stew is fantastic as is the apple crumble.

Yes, but I have no money!!!!!

A holiday to the canaries for €12.50 is still too expensive for me at the moment!!

I wasn't giving out about the price, its phenomonal value, but I still don't have a penny to spend on it :(

Top Tip: Make it a meal for 3 or 4 by choosing a large main course (Mousakka is great when on the offer, or maybe lasagna), then roast veg (non potato) side dish, easy to share desert (the apple crumble is great) and add a bag of Lidl's roast potatos (about 80cent)!!

    Good tip!

I try stretch it to as many people as possible but just tend to add an extra side instead of your great tip of potatoes from Lidl.

Or their croquetes (69c a bag) or wedges (around 80c) are good too! ;) Remember to get some lidl cream for that apple crumble!

Yeah this is a good tip, buying potatoes separately makes sense. Lidl oven chips are great. Also Aldi Rooster potatoes are lovely and floury, and great value at €4.29 for 7.5 kg.

Thanks Ron for posting this- I just popped into M&S on grafton st and stocked up for the weekend.

They are only charging €11.55 now for the dine in for 2 deal!! (I think it has something to do with the recent cuts in alcohol from the budget......... happy days!)

Ron do you receive an email letting you know about this deal or did you just decide to type out all the options available?

It's generally a decent bargain and always €12.50 except when they apply an additional wine discount.
