Well it's hardly your fault, it wasn't intentional.... or was it? :D

I've never tried those pizzas, though I had heard only good things. Don't think I'll bother now...
No, never. I think I have to go away somewhere for the evening. I've the front door and back door opened now. Hopefully it will leave the house

Ha same happened me! - It had falling down one side.

I went to shop there for air freshener. When I was walking up towards my front door I could smell it out on the street. It's a disgrace. I must have got a bad one or something, there's no way they'd still be in shops after what I've smelt!

The air freshener is doing nothing! :( - The lads will kill me when they walk in.
i suggest another walk to the shop for febreeze... it really does work!!! :) ah im sure the lads wont kill you... maim you maybe! :D

    RUUUUN FORREST RU.. okay sorry.

I'm a tad giddy this evening. Sleep deprivation mixed with the anticipation of SHOPPING TOMORROW with one of my mates.

That must have been some foul pizza. I actually have a very poor sense of smell - I probably wouldn't have noticed and would have been eating it before I discovered it was rotten :pac:

    I had a woeful day!
started badly with a power cut in the building, got worse with a cooling failure and general contract related bad news made things worse!
Still, none of it's personal, and a lovely cheerful message I just got has put a huge smile on my face, so I'm calling this a positive answer :)

i'm grand...i wouldnt say cheery cheery cheery but grand. a couple episodes of How I met Yor Mother helped the boredom. also i'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not..ah well...

I'm cheery at least. My parents Christmas prezzies should arrive tomorrow (they've been stuck out in a business park on the South Link since Thursday, but I sure as hell wasn't going getting em as I have no car and I KNOW they're not signed for, so why they didn't just leave them at my landlords like ALWAYS I don't know ) and I'm wrapping them tomorrow. This to me is exciting - sad I know, but I adore Christmas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

They stuck with the couriers out there? - is there no buses going out that way? - bit of a walk alright :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 530 ✭✭✭_Roz_

F*ck the bus. I don't know where the park even is, or where the bus is or anything. They deserve to have to come all the way back out here for being stupid enough to deviate from their usual behaviour - I get a LOAD of packages regularly as I receive review copies of books and buy even more books off Amazon. They KNOW to give the packages to my landlord, who is in the same yard. So I sent back the leaflet thing with my landlords address on it. :D

Yeah some can be annoying alright. Did you put down your mobile number? They usually phone, even though they hardly ever understand your directions :pac:

Yeah my number is there, but they've been silly and had to do this before. You'd think they'd learn. :pac:

    aww watch a movie?
Not good, been up since 10 a.m trying to get my portfolio done, not doing too bad, was thinking right get half done today and Im only working 4 hours an evening this week so will most definately get it done for friday.....fast forward to 5.30 and I get a phone call from my manager, the girl who was on sick leave (she fell off a kick stool and got two hairline fractures, and was due back tomorrow) is out for another week! So now my measly 20 hour evening shift hours have been bumped up to 40 hours!
Seriously screwed for getting this portfolio done to my standard.

On the upside I got an interview for the PGCE in England for my first choice today, so that kinda cancels out all the bad stuff....but have to get a fantastic final grade this year if they are going to accept me on the course!

Hope everyone else is having a better day than I am!

hurray to the good bits of your message :) and boooooo to the bad bits! :(

FFS did anyone ever purchase that Chicago Town Garlic Pizza thing (Thought it was a normal pizza). Well I put it in oven and came back from shop and the bloody house stinks. Most disgusting thing ever. Through the whole thing in bin. I mean everywhere in house is bad upstairs and all. Feel like vomiting with the smell...

eww even the name is putting me off, where did you get it from? not a supermarket I hope!! Thanks for sharing your experience and saving us from a stinky house though. Will you have it smelling nice and back to normal before the after party at yours on Friday?
    Mentally ill, mate.

    Hmmm

    allo allo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah, dad is actually driving down Friday to pick me and bro up and I don't fancy trying to bring presents plus three weeks of clothes at a cost of nearly 30 euro on the bus on saturday (with a hangover) just for a meet :P I'm sure you're all worth it, but I can't handle it :P Bought awesome tartan tights today with which I could have put together a really nice Christmassy outfit and all. Oh well! Shall wear it to Jack L instead.

    Also, HALLO!

How are we all this fine evening?

I had a nice enough day, got some nice bits in town and saw one of my mates for a bit - was a bit tense though as I'm not generally happy about the fact that I get about one hour of her time every second time she's in Cork overnight, due to her spending the other 47 hours with her boyfriend. Out of context I'm sure that sounds selfish, but if you knew the boy...man. If there was a God, he'd do us all a favour and break them up.
