    Standard, you mean?

Well waist heigh is standard then this yoke was smaller.

Believe me I had the intention to buy it and when I saw it assembled in the shop I changed my mind.
You wouldn't get a decent game of pool out of it unless you're a pygmy/midget.

The pool table that was in mahon that jaytee and I saw on display may have been the 3 in 1 table which was small.

I'd say any of them would be good for kids, they are very sturdy for the price, the only problem being that you can't fold them. The sizes are all on the site so you could get out the measuring tape!

    jaytee,

You must have been looking at the 3-in-1 in pool mode.

    Football Table (dimensions): * 122cm (L) x 61cm (W) x 80cm (H)
    Pool Table (dimensions): * 152cm (L) x 81cm (W) x 75cm (H)

The pool table is longer, wider but slightly smaller in height (by 5cm) than the football table.

The 3-in-1 table and pool table were assembled side by side in Halfords Sligo.. and the 3-in-1 is a bit too small for me (both length and height) but the pool table is far from small or aimed at kids.

Picked one these up in carlow yesterday and put it together, not very sturdy and complete rubbish material wise i.e Timber and other bits an bobs. Balls very small and bigger one's won't fit in the pockets i'd imagine, there is not alot of space. Was going to walk away from it when i seen it setup in store but bought it for the young lad anyway, never in a million years was it worth 250euro. What we all paid here was about the right value but don't expect your bargain table to have much of a lifespan made out of complete junk. Right thats me i'm off to Adverts.ie to try shift a fantastic top of the range pool table :D

I reserved one of these online in the Blanchardstown branch yesterday (expires end of today). But I'm not that bothered with it now.
I see the stock went down to zero in Blanch, but I assume that doesn't include reservations.

Edit - makes more sense do to what Johnny Adidas done below... print number and let people post if they're going to use it.

Reservation Number : 8601274034 - the 5 foot pool table.

Blanchardstown phone number is 01 8214302 if ye want to check beforehand.

    Thanks Lintree,

Picked up one in Holfords Drogheda yesterday, I rang on the off chance they might have some left and I was in luck, there was one reserved the day before but it was never collected.

So thanks again, what a great Xmas present !

Got one in Naas based on the recommendations here. I was a little concerned to read the comments from some on here.

Anyone else check out the table yet?

I saw them made up in one of the stores and they are grand, excellent for the price I'd say

I dont know if you can still buy these but word of warning, Anyone that has played on a proper pool table would not be able to play on this.

The pockets are tiny, so are the balls, it is quite low and is no standard as someone posted above.

Although pool tables are expensive so you cant really complain with the price. Would be a fantastic present for kids and im sure some adults would have a game or two but dont be expecting to be playin all day as the balls fly all over the place and pockets are tiny

Well I dont think anyone with any amount of cop-on/ any decent standard of pool or snooker would expect this to be like a tables they play on regularly. Flimsyness is not your friend when it comes to pool/snooker tables/equipment.
