If anyone checks other websites ,the balls aren't standard size with this ,they're a lot smaller

Just to (re) mention that the legs for both aren't foldable according to hukd and as yoshy said balls are smaller than your normal balls for the pool table

I am humming and hawing here as to whether or not to get the football table......(gets out measuring tape)

I can grab a van so no folding legs isnt an issue, but the nearest halfords that has it is Navan which is 60 miles away :\

Thanks OP got one ,Quality OK if you were paying about €100 so very good for this price. Fits into ford focus type hatchback OK with seats forward. Smyths selling sets of pool balls €7.99 (were €14.99) think they are slightly bigger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,423 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Probably will go pick mine up in an hour's time.. it's being relegated to the spare room. Won't even fit in my office room (well.. I call it an office room = it houses my Xbox, Games, Mac Mini and a Dell Hybrid! :D).

But will the bigger balls fit in the holes? *

Picked the football table up this morning, I have to say its quite nice and a neat size that isn't going to take up much room assembled.

Saw the pool table aswell, more suitable to kids I'd say. Quite small but very good for the price.

Edit - 2 football tables fitted in to the back of my fiesta with the seats down and I'd say the pool table would have fitted in aswell

I'd get this but for the fact I don't have the room; what with my full-size Riley aristocrat taking it all up. (Seriously)

I'd say hold off on buying the above as they'll probably reduce it further. It has the same rrp as the pool table.

Picked up pool table earlier.. was tough enough to get in my VW Polo. It sat atop the two headrests in the front seat and was left with no rear view mirror. I used side mirrors the whole way home but I live only a few minutes from Halfords and it was a straight run home.

Don't know how lindtee thought it was small.. it's a damn decent size as I saw it assembled in store. The 3-in-1 table is a bit small however at 4ft long and a damn sight shorter in height too.

Sitting in my hallway now.. will assemble when other half is watching X Factor tonight.

Check the size and make sure they fit comfortably in the pockets.

Could have been the 3 in one that was assembled that I saw, I'm not sure.

Edit-Just looked at the pictures online, and it must have been the 3 in 1. Jaytee said it looked v small too, might have put people off buying it before actually.

They would definitely fit in the pockets (they are not full size, made to fit Smyths 6x3 tables) and if the ones that come with the table are the really small size ones these would be better though 2 or 3 will fill the pocket

If this is in fact true then bigger balls sound like they are better. It ruins a pool table if the balls are too small. The tradeoff is though that there is less space left on the table and you'll always be snookered when u come to the table. Bear in mind also that they need to fit comfortably in the pockets, not just-about.

Assembled mine an hour ago, took 15 mins and it was second time lucky as my original one was cracked up the side where the leg goes on!

Upon ringing them they only had the display left, but when i arrived they had a spare boxed

I thought i was going to be jinxed as it took over 15 mins for the assistant to find it firstly and then the crack.

Ah well off for some pool then :D.

    Avoid the pool table.

It's about waist height on adults.

In fact it looks like a Hobbit's pool table.

I went for the Fußball table instead.
