Another bloody stickie! If you spot a classic and take a shot please put it here rather than start a fresh thread. I'll start, I spotted this Lotus Elan parked in Catherine Street here in Waterford. Had'nt seen it before. Today I also saw 2 Silver Clouds, and 2 Jenson Interceptors but they were moving and so was I :D Mike.

Spotted at Toughers Autojumble last Sunday...

1950's Morris Truck, Australian reg, for sale.

Plus a blast from the past! An Opel Rekord diesel in 1980's 'banger' condition! Reg '429 BIP'....listed as one owner car. Taxed and insured til 2010?!

The bumpers were from some other make of car, there wasn't a straight panel on it...and it had a built in alarm...i.e. a big dog on the rear seat!:D

This one didn't come out as well as I expected, but here it is anyway. It's a 1981 (according to Mywheels) Hino, seemed to be still working for a living and was absolutely mint. That blurry registration plate says 575 TZO.

P.S. that Opel Rekord is fantastic!

I think the Porsche a little further back was at the octane meet last sunday.

There were some other cars to but the bateries in the cam gave up after about 12 pics :mad:

Was passing through Beaufort village near killarney this morning and stopped at the shop there,saw this and took a pic of it. When i came out the old man who owned it was getting in so i asked him about it. Turns out he bought it new in 1971 and has owned it ever since. Car was in good order too. Not too many like that around these days.:)

Hi, its got a 1,565cc (push rod) engine with a Garrett T3 Turbo Charger, the engine is standard except I have put a K&N cone air filter, a Bailey Dump Valve and a full stainless steel exhaust. Here's another picture of the car. Its getting a full bare metal respray at the moment. YEAH!

very nice it looks solid ,i didnt like the 1397cc one it just didnt seem enough of an engine for the car ,but i wouldt say no to one if i could get one now

That looks like a HE.

There was a guy in Sligo running a cattle lorry HE up until about 3 years ago. Had a nasty experience with it doing a rear centre bolt.

Afaik he still has it but she is parked now. Think the engine finally gave up the ghost.

The cab had a lovely finish inside.

I saw the Hino in Cork; CIT to be precise. I only saw it sitting in the yard as I was walking along a first-floor corridor, I've no idea who owned it or where it was from. Someone must know though...

For a man who can point out crusader stripes on a Jan 79 reg mk5 cortina, i think I knew you knew they weren't standard Agree on the arches, for a 2 door only... Somethin different I guess. As far as I know the engine is a hot 1600 crossflow so at least it has some power under the arches

I was over at my buddies place a few weeks back and took a few pictures of his latest addition to his Stable of E Types.

He has called the E Type "Black Eagle"

It's rare enough colour and its original and looks stunning. Also rare to be an original Irish car, he also has an 2 + 2 V12 which is also Irish and under going a full rebuild and in between them in his stable is also another E type roadster in a lovely shade of Green. Now he's a lucky, lucky LUCKY fella!!

Far play to ya, cant say I am not jealous, and i am not the jealous type but hell i got to admit I am just a little, .
