And I just sent off application for the MBNA/pigsback credit card today.
Still, the 0% interest for first 10 months is good.

If you are transferring over a balance then make sure you pay it off in the 10 months or you may have to pay back the 10 months of interest!

    Where does it say that?

    On the terms it says:
    Promotional Rate:

0% APR on balance transfers and credit card cheques for ten months from account opening or 0.0000% monthly provided you operate your account within the terms and conditions. The promotional rates will be withdrawn if you go overlimit or overdue during this period.

that dosnt mean you will have to pay back teh interest if you odnt clear your transferred balance though.

going overlimit or overdue a payment are not the same as not clearing a balance that remains within teh limit.

Are the reward vouchers (Xtra-vision, A-wear) sent to your address or are they emailed & you have to print them out?

My mother got the same and a voucher for free starter/desert at TGI Fridays. She was giving out because she doesn't live in Dublin and would rather the extra piggy points.

You might be right. It's really gone downhill. They've gotten rid of so many rewards in the last couple of months. I have about 60 points to go to free credit, and then I'm not sure if I'll continue to use the site.

It also seems a lot longer between ordering phone credit, and actually getting the top-up codes.:(

If you're inactive for a while do they close your account?

Don't see the answer on the site, but doubt it. Closest thing I could find was this http://www.pigsback.com/Pages/3/45/478.aspx
    Do PiggyPoints expire?
Yes. However PiggyPoints will not expire on an active account. An inactive account is deemed to be one which is not visited for a period of 6 continuous months.

looks like now you need to confirm you want the piggypoints, more info here looks like to many people clicking on the 10 piggypoints links and closing straight away without reading the offer.

It's all getting to be hard work for little return. I just looked at the counting down of the 10 seconds, and still didn't know what the ad was for, so no change there then.:P

First time I ever used the jackpot pools was at the weekend for the SHC final (Killkenny). I bet 500 points, but all I got back was 500 points (my bet). I was expecting to double up.

Can anyone explain their jackpot payout system?

Does anyone know anything about the 5 points per 99c spent on itunes? Do you have to have the same email address for both?

Also on the air wick rewards page they only have 5euro rewards, and I can't see any phone credit, am I just looking in the wrong place?

Do not play the jackpots they are a waste of points. They add together all the points, take away 20% admin fee and divide by all the people who entered the correct prediction, which is often a very large number of people. What I don't get is that you can stake 50, 100, 200 and you still seem to get the same amount back for each of them.

    I would imagine so.

The ones you see on that page are all the reward that Airwick offers, ;€5 AWEAR, TGI, Xtra-Vision etc.

I just got the last 20 points I needed to reach 1200 points to get €10 O2 phone credit and they only have €20 available for 2400 points :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,864 ✭✭✭glanman

To be fair it is only 2100 points which is very good value. I cashed in my 2500 points for one €10 as I thought €20 wouldnt come back. €20 will be very handy, only 300 points off it now!
