€10 Captain Americans voucher 900PP, down from 1200.

    Ordered there, not bad.

Its got even worse...the once weekly 10 Piggypoint Quiz in the "Fun" section is now monthly, and the daily competition in the "Movie Of the Week" section for 100 points now longer exist!

And I miss the Boots vouchers rewards

I emailed Pigsback about the worsening vouchers.

here's the reply I got back:
Thank you for your email. We have a number of permanent rewards and a number of other rewards that come and go depending on the deals available in the market. We are considering a number of new rewards, notably in the music area and as soon as we have news, it'll be up on the site.

If you have recommendations, please let me know. We do listen and do our best to respond.

    Sorry for any disappointment caused.

It might be worth our while setting up a seperate thread (perhaps in consumer affairs?) voicing our opinions on the state of the vouchers, and what we would like. Us just complaining about it (like i have done here several times) won't solve much.

    What do people think?

I emailed about thema bout €20 as €10 is no use to me because I need €20 min in one go to keep free calls

"Thank you for your email. We regularly review our rewards catalogue, add and remove items and we do this in order to keep the catalogue fresh for members. Unfortunately we will not be stocking any 20 euro call credit on the Rewards page for the time being.

We currently have 10 euro O2, Meteor and Vodafone call credit in stock.

    Sorry for any disappointment caused.

    Kind Regards,"

    and

There is no reason 20 euro call credits won't be back in the future. We are considering a number of new rewards, notably in the music area and as soon as we have news, it'll be up on the site.

The keep sending the same crappy response to every complaint I make. And the new music is all crap too...

Do you need to print the coupons in colour for them to be valid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 280 ✭✭Jenroche

No. Black and white coupons will be accepted in the supermarkets.

Did you query this with Pigsback?
Sure HMV are selling CDs in the shops for less than €15! That pigsback offer is ludicrous!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,291 ✭✭✭eclectichoney

Ah for god sake. I just noticed my point balance had increased by 1200 since I ordered a H& voucher for €10 last week. I looked at my Piggyban and the reward has been randomly (i.e. no correspondence received / explanation etc.) voided!:mad: They don't seem to be doing them anymore? They could have told me! It just gets worse and worse!

    Reply from Pigsback

Bang CD process and send CD rewards ordered on our behalf. The 1500 PiggyPoints charged for the CD are correct as PiggyPoints do not have a monitory value.

Also Littlewoods Ireland is gone from the website

It seems that the owners of Pigsback have also got a connection with this link, where for example, you can get a €5 Hughes & Hughes voucher for 500 piggy points.

I also ordered a CD and got a confirmation email from bangcd. I was wondering what they do with the other 640 PP

If piggypoints don't have any monitory value, why do they quote on their website, for example, you have 2309 piggypoints in your piggybank worth €23.09!

I just followed that link and it said I have 849 airwick points which I was like where did they come from and then I realised that that is also my piggy balance....

Lazy pigsbacks couldn't even design a new site!

Yay i got two 5 euro Awear vouchers for 1000 points, and if i had of ordered a 10 euro voucher off Pigsback itself it would have cost me 1200 points:cool:

The only reason I got the email from Airwick was after signing up for their newsletter to get some piggy points a few weeks ago. Some of you guys must have done the same. Still, weird things are happenin'.

All I want to see on Airwick now is cheaper phone credit.:pac:

There is a 10 point weekly quiz on the Shop And Earn section, you probably all know this already but I just stumbled across it there so I thought I'd share it :pac:

went into Tesco in Newbridge last night to use some coupans and was refused. Management said they stopped taking pigsback vouchers as they sent previous vouchers away and got no money back from pigsback

They've removed the euro equivalent under your points total.

I'd say we need to spend our points fast as it looks to me like they could be on their way out....very few points and less and less advertisers on the site due to cut backs in advertising budgets.

I think the best ever rewards was the golf umbrellas they had about 5 years ago!

My mother got the same and a voucher for free starter/desert at TGI Fridays. She was giving out because she doesn't live in Dublin and would rather the extra piggy points.

You might be right. It's really gone downhill. They've gotten rid of so many rewards in the last couple of months. I have about 60 points to go to free credit, and then I'm not sure if I'll continue to use the site.
