Here a bit of a teaser. 4 cars in the following photo, front one is easy, two in the middle are more difficult, maybe not even recognisable but the cabrio at the back left is really interesting, was shocked when I saw it in real life, one of my absolute favourite cars of all time and tbh if I ever win a million on the lotto its the first thing I'd buy. I'll put up a better photo and tell what it is tomorrow if noone gets it.

The front one's a Renault 5 Turbo/Turbo2, there's a Citroen SM behind it. Is the next one another SM? The car at the back is (I think) a Citroen DS Chapron convertible.

It was Mrs WA who took the pic while I was in the shop. I've her well trained! :D (Probably would have taken a better shot myself though!).

agreed, is it me or are people trying to "get rich" quick out of classic cars

I reckon people who aren't in need of a quick sale chance their arm for a while.

Makes actually pricing anything difficult as the small ads are full of those chancers!

Three classic Mercs, all in the same carpark today:

    26082009004.jpg
    W123 and W201

    26082009005.jpg
    W126

The W123 in particular was an absolute minter; didn't get a good look at the W126 though.

It looks like that VW was originally an American import, judging by the sidelights in the doors.

^ Funny, their is an 'SI' reg. one of those, estate too, around south Dublin. Have yet to get a picture of it.

Saw these two Mercs outside a well known premises at Annesley Bridge in Dublin. I was sitting in a coach in traffic and couldn't get a good shot of the dark blue pick up conversion in the foreground. reminded me of a recent post from someone considering chopping a 6 series BMW. (Sacreligious!!)

Today I saw a few interesting cars but got no pics.:(
I spotted two or three immaculate Mk II Jags heading for the ferry, I discovered some rusty A40's (I think) at the top of Ticknock Road, and I spotted a car I've never seen before coming through Ranelagh. I would describe it as a two door saloon convertible - it looked Italian. I also spotted a spotless SI registered Starlet.
Bloody slow moving traffic is never there when you need it.
