Would people really call this a "beauty" pageant?

I hope they only employ female drivers for the contestants, If any of them get into a car with a male driver behind the wheel, they will die.:rolleyes:

You do realise you're on the internet rigth now and some "real beautys" are only a few clicks away?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Yah this is outdated 1950s Kerry pornography. It's quaint, but really one of the relics of black-and-white Ireland I wouln't be sorry to see us drop.

This what makes the Rose of Tralee, it brings us back to the good old days when Ireland was a truly nice country to live in, very little crime, everybody knew everybody, sense of community, not everyone was trying to keep up with Jones's, money wasnt that important.

    Or a "you'll-do-you-have-a-distant-Irish-connection-and-aren't-THAT-ugly" competition.

And, as already discussed last week, there's the elephant in the room this year.

For me, the rose competition is a constant reminder of everything that I hate about the history of Irish culture.

Reciting poetry, comely maidens dancing at the crossrorads - it's fap material for the clergy.

Give me a dirty yoke that can suck a golfball through a garden hose and make her 'bits' look like Sam Elliott and i'll watch. Apart from that, fcuk off conservative middle age Ireland.

I'm looking forward to The Rose of Tralee, what's not to like ? Great clothes, hair, shoes and make up for the Ladies and pretty ladies for Lads to look at. Plus The Roses get treated like Royalty for a week. I'd love to be treated like Royalty for even one day.
