No calls yet for any boardies (y'all know who y'all are) for Aug??

I had a missed call from a no number just after 4 today, just missed answering it:( i'll not sleep tonight at all!!!

Does anybody think the calls for Aug have gone out already & none of us have got them or what????

My nerves are wrecked, i say, my nerves are wrecked, giggity:eek::eek::eek:.

You might not get the letter till Saturday or Tuesday if that was 'the call' (im sooooooo hoping it was). Dont think they ring back. Maybe you could ring them and play dumb- Say you are going on hols to Louisiana!! LOL

Awww man,no call backs?? Shikake. That's even worse eh. Yeah i was thinking of phoning them & saying summit, though i don't think they'd go, oh yeah we were trying to phone you!

Anyways, ah well, just goes to show that i shouldn't drive with the music so goddamn loud lol!!!

So seriously, do you peeps reckon that the calls for Aug have gone already & we haven't heard anything at all?? I mean surely someone on here would've heard something even if it were that someone else got a call????

Just thinking that somehow we wouldve heard if they'd defo went out either through someone posting or through word of mouth.

Well i s'pose it's possible that they went out & nobody on here was amongst the lucky chosen few, though i find it a bit hard to believe given that there are such a range of peeps (from late 200's right through to us knocking around in the 300's) on here & if a call came we'd surely hear about it some way.

i feel the same lou. i sometimes forget that its not guaranteed that someone on here will actually get the call in a specific intake. it seems unlikely though that there wouldnt have been even one person but theyd be leaving it quite late in the day to start fonecalls next week instead. who knows...

I'm absolutely delighted, but being a 'the glass is half empty and is going to be empty soon' kind of guy I am I'm sad that I will have to grow my hair for another substance test, I look a bit simple any time my hair gets longer than an inch!

Still, I think the positives outweigh the negative, huh?

Don't think my work will be happy with me, and are very unlikely to give me time off for the induction day.... wait a sec, what's this??? *cough cough* suspected swine flu? Better stay off that day.... :P

How many intakes are there left this year after August, 3? Things are looking very good for everyone else I'd say! With my GCSE in additional mathematics, and literally seconds of careful calculation I'd say that I'd expect at the very least 50 more non RCs in before end of the year.

Congratulations for getting the call Testarossa, just when we'd all but given up hope for an August intake.... well just when i'd given up hope to be more precise! Im actualy under the 300 mark on the merit myself and am SO terribly excited at the prospect of getting in now ive heard this news!!
Do the calls go out on one single day does anyone know? I guess having only about 50 people to call they would but do any of you know?

Ive been waiting anxiously by the phone all day since reading this great news this morning however the only person who rang for me was a lady from talk talk....I wonder if she noticed how nervously I answered the phone! lol
Also, im pretty sure this is correct as ive trawled through many a post on here, but if indeed you do miss that hallowed call do they just send the induction pack out to your house? They have my old mobile number you see but barring that theyve always got the trusty oul house phone!

got the call today. just around half 4. was in work. i still cant believe it. induction pack should be here on wednesday the lovely lady said on the phone. still hasnt sunk in yet. i dont think it will.

i dont think words can describe it haha. ive been shaking with excitement ever since
