    Just a heads up. My old mate from work gave me a shout today. He scored 56 at AC and was roughly over 200 non rc and got offered August but is deferring! His vetting I doubt would have took long as he is in a similar job now shall we say and vetting flew through for it! Not sure what this means! His medical was early this year also! Not saying this means anything but I reckon he is prob around 250s mark.....may be useful to judge where they are at Non RC wise, may be not!

    think theyve taken in 310's ish on the non rc side. hope they havnt only got to 250 odds or im in trouble lol

    well even if we take that maybe 330 was the lowest non rc that got the call, outside of the boards, that must surely stand lou, pyg et al in good stead, especially when you take into account vettign fails, drop outs, med fails etc etc

    next month is your month me thinks :D

    see for brushes for polishing boots, has anyone got these yet? i dont really know what to look for...

    Got my pack yesterday - all very exciting :)

    Also got my deferral granted so new start date in October - very pleased. Still petrified but getting more excited by the day!

    Cannot wait to hear who will be joining me in October (no offence but hope there's a couple of oldies like myself so I don't feel like I'm sticking out like a big sore thumb). Have to admit to being slightly sad I'll miss Smyff in all his glory at GV :D Think he certainly would have been an ice breaker...

    Hello smyff!

    You can normally get packs with the Kiwi polish that contain two brushes, one for putting it on and one for buffing it off. That's what I was thinking of getting anyway...but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than little old me who has never bulled a boot (or anything else for that matter) in her life will be around soon to give more details :)

    haha. its a good feeling isnt it. i read mine last night in bed. still couldnt believe it!

    i laughed so hard i snorted at that post. i think i did well at my AC breaking the ice. it was sooo awkward then i just blahhed out! that means alot to me though :P i hope that was a compliment!:pac::pac::pac:

    aye we have brushes in the kitchen but theyre wick. ill have a duke in tescos when im next in. i think ill enjoy a bit of bulling! ill also practice on some old shoes!
