Nothing on golfnet yet and they're not registered on Howdidido.

I'd be surprised if there were .1s going for the morning. Would say it'll go to CSS 76 and be reduction only. Not too sure about later.

It took weeks to come through on Golfnet last year... pretty sure it stayed at 73 then.

Really enjoyed playing headfort for the 1st time. 83, 77, was pretty happy the way I played, 6,7,4 finish on the new killed my chances. I've a third baby due in a month, so might not get back for a few years, but defo look to play again.. excellent value. agree regarding the sambo's, not cheap!!

    Madds,

Any word on when the draw will be made for Lucan JSC?

    Hi Graeme,

About a week beforehand, so you're looking at Friday July 3rd? Did you ask for a particular time when you rang up?

Hmmm... they told me when i booked in to expect a call on Weds of this week. They just seemed to be taking one hour slot preferences, i.e. 10-11.

Anyone know if Co. Louth Junior Scratch went ahead on Sat. or was it cancelled due to the weather?

If it went ahead anyone know what won it?

It was susended at 12.00 and was a joke that they allowed play in the first place. A revised date and timesheet will be announced soon.

Was the Louth one 5-9 or 4-9?

4 to 9 as far as I know. The sheet was full in 30 minutes or something.

There were lots of no shows Saturday and as far as I was told they will be balloted out of the replay and the reserve list will be opened. a mate of mine just showed up and got straight out. He was told he is guaranteed a place on the revised list.

May be worth phoning to see what the craic is.

Was there any hint given about when it may be rescheduled for f22?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,361 ✭✭✭f22

No Graeme, they weren't very forthcoming with any info to be honest. Guaranteed it's going to clash with something else now though.

    Kilkenny is 36 too.
You can book a slot rather than a draw I was told.

just had a look on the site & its not listed in the open competitions for booking. not to worry, will prob go with either woodbrook or carlow as ive played neither before.

It's silly that Kilkenny and Carlow are on the same day... I'd love to play both.
Carlow is a great course... it would be my choice of the two but I'm more likely to play Kilkenny as it's so local to me.

    Lads,

Update on South County JSC taken from the website.

    Scratch Cup
    Junior (4-9), Intermediate (10-18), Minor (19-28)

Due to adverse weather conditions, all 3 Scratch Cup events on Saturday 6th June had to be abandoned. Rescheduled Date is Saturday 8th August - Timesheet opens for booking on Friday 3rd July.Entry fees from Saturday 6th June will be valid for the new date, or any other event if unable to play on refixed date.

    Junior Scratch Cups
    Woodbrook 5/7
    Old Conna 26/7
    Woodenbridge 3/8
    South County 8/8
    Naas 16/8
    Beech Park 23/8

Missing a couple I'd like to play in (eg: Lucan) due to clashes with my home club majors, and h'cap might become a factor in getting into some of the above but for now, that's the plan.
