This must have instantly sold out. I'm talking <1minute because i've been refreshing since 8:59, i got the page up at 9:00 and entered 2 Any Price - Any Section....

Went into a 2 minute queue and got nothing.

i did the same and got nothing either i think this is a joke

I just got my 3 tickets. Mother of the Year! Keep trying, I just kept getting that message about no tickets available, choose any price, any section and persevere. Keep going back & doing the same process over & over. I I had been trying solidly since 8.59 and finally got them at 9.25 - had given up hope. Good luck!

ok, so incase she puts on another date whats the best way to do it online?

i log in to my account and click on her page, then choose the 2nd date.

If it doesnt say 'find tickets' yet, do i just stay on the page until it freshes itself? or do i click refresh?

I'm not being smart but you go in at 9am on the dot and buy the tickets, without fail you get tickets.

I'm at a loss as to why people feel the need to refresh the lard out of their connection? Surely the ticketmaster site tracks the connection and refuses to connect those which are refreshing every few seconds?

ps two separate transactions were with two different ticketmaster accounts logged in with different browsers.

I know that, i've been buying tickets online in this manner for a long time now for gigs that are high demand....Coldplay, U2, Kings of Leon etc. But i was on the dot this morning and this is the first time it has ever happened me. As you can see from other posters im not the only one.

After just a 1 minute wait I also failed to get any tickets.
Seems unlikely that an online system could process 9,500 seating requests in less than 60 seconds.
Interested to know how people logged in(from where - home or work). I logged in from work which would make me look like I am logging in from the UK(even though I have set the location in my TicketMaster profile as Ireland).

Fair enough, maybe you went for the first gig which probably already had it's fair share of tickets sold through various avenues and the second date which I and others went for had more availability?

so annoyed , i was ready and waiting at 9 and somehow missed out, is it true that more might go on sale closer the time ?? or should we just hope for a third date?

Are everybodies clocks showing the correct time? I got three at 09:03, no wait. The awful thing is, as I used my credit card to book them I have to go.

There would be a lot less transactions than this.

19k combined, with 10% sold already to 02 customers, then fan club presale plus American Express presale, then baring in mind the majority of people will be buying multiple tickets - more than likely the max 4.

I was ready at 8.59 and got in at 9.00. At 9.01 was told no exact matches for any tickets in any location for the 2nd date. Got my Fleetwood Mac tickets though. Looking forward to seeing if their anti tout measures work.

Same happened us around 9. We went into CD world there. yer man in it says he dosn think more will go on sale towards it. Seemed like a straight sell out. Then he wasn't sure of a third date.

He said around 15 people got tickets at his shop last night. They started Q'ing from 9 last night , the people from 9 to 1 got the tickets

If you failed to get tickets it does not mean you did anything wrong or that the Ticketmaster systems are broken, just that there are less tickets available than people that want them. Someone will miss out.

My sister just txt me. She physically queued outside a TM shop @ 5.30am and waited till it opened- got her tickets for her kids - well happy!

I was online since 8 clock refreshing my page, got to choose my tickets at 9.00am was through the system and by 9.01 was told there were no tickets to match my criteria! I was only looking for 2.. I kept trying but they were obviously gone!! Between O2 customers ans this mastercard preferred seating pre booking a big proportion of them must have been gone before anyone got a chance today!!:( Do we think there will be a 3rd date?? My poor niece will be so upset:(!!

She's apparently in Ireland for 4 days so she might do another date. Who knows!

I'm going to be unpopular in our house today :pac:

Not sure why people so this, everything comes from the same pool and via the same connection interface.

if she's in Ireland for 4 days and doesnt commit to another date, it really doesnt say alot for her!

She's here on a break apparently, not just to sell herself.

They were definately not all sold out at 9:01 as I didn't get out of bed until about 5 past.

So who is playing in the O2 on the 15th and 18th of December then?

If she is already booked to be in Irealdn for 4 extra days then already built into that plan is the possibility of extra shows. They just don't announce the full number of dates they have planned initially so that the initial dates sell out quickly, generates a bit of publicity about how popular said random act is, once those dates are sold out they then magically manage to fit in another couple of dates into the schedule and the extra publicity around those means that they sell out as well.

Ireland is lovely and everything, but she is coming here to make money from doing shows, not to wander around a bog in the rain on her days off.

Why were you hitting refresh from 8.50? They didn't go on sale until 9am.

Unfortunately you hitting refresh for 10 minutes probably has contributed to the reason your 6 year old will be disappointed.

Thats pure rubbish, refreshing the page doesnt limit your chances it jst makes sure you dont miss out when the tickets actuall come on sale.

Whos to say shes not negotiating Belfast gigs for one or all of those dates?

It would seem that we are doing something wrong or the system is doing something wrong. How can we explain that "Fishy1" got hers at 9:25 and the rest of us were being told that all tickets wer sold out by 9:01!

But the person in question did miss out, so there goes your idea.

Your knowledge of how the ticketmaster site accepts being bombarded with connection requests from the same IP address over a short period of time is obviously minimal.

I believe someone posted on here or some other board a blurb from her website that said she's spending the 4 extra days in Ireland celebrating her birthday.

Exactly, she's not coming over on holiday though, well unless the tickets had happened to not sell out. ;)
