this ****hole of a country is the most expensive for concert tickets the ones for miley are pure robbery.....

Tickets for this gig are slightly cheap compared to Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits (last year) tickets.

Yeah, well a ford fiesta is slightly cheaper compared to a BMW.

Ya but I think the point is that tickets in other countries for the same concert are cheaper than here e.g. O2 London tickets cost less than O2 Dublin.

A friend got me four tickets. So excited cos they are for the front row and my daughter and nieces are thrilled. Only problem being they are in her name and on her cc. We will be travelling from mayo and I can hardly ask her to come with me just to show id at the gate. Surely there is some other way to change it before we go or something. I know it clearly sates the terms of sale but to be honest we were only interested in getting the tickets and didnt hear about this till after.

Just bring her credit card with you, there won't be an issue.

If people don't pay for expensive things, the prices would drop.

People still pay for the things, and in this case sells out 2 concerts.

Why would they reduce prices if people are going to be them anyway?
OK its obvious u dont have kids if u did u wouldnt make a comment like that .Open ur eyes for godsake we live in a country in which we have no choice but to pay for these things. U try tell a ten year old girl shes not goin cause they are too dear! Well i certainly cant like everything else in this sh..t hole of a country we have no choice but to scrape together what we can in order to make ends meet!

Next person that goes off topic gets banned for a week. Talk about the gig. Not the ticket price or your screaming kids.

Hes just selling a membership code, not any tickets.

You have to book the tickets with the cr card holder of one of the attendees due to security reasons so I would not go for this scam.

Ok this is the story, miley cyrus is in manchester 27 28 dec, flights can be got for very cheap prob anything ranging from 20 euro up.Think of the price u would pay on petrol alone if u were livin a stretch from dublin, think of the traffic and all goes with it. A nice christmas present from u to ur kids for christmas! stay in a nice hotel (cheap of course) It would be a nice memory to hold onto for u and ur kids. Tbh i think a lot of irish people need to get out of this country for a little breack! A s far as i know there is a lot of tickets still available for manchester im goin looking forward to steppin onto another land away from the deppression in this country with my kids even if its for only two days!

certainly not anything like 20 euro, the cheapest flights you'll get at the moment for either date work out at around 83 euro return.that's flying in to manchester with ryanair and back with aer lingus...

Have you read any of the previous posts here or the Ts & Cs of the tickets? There are anti-tout measures on these tickets which are designed to make it between difficult and impossible to sell these tickets on.

she's just announced 2 extra london dates on dec 19th and 20th so i'd say that's put an end to any hope of an extra dublin date..:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 177 ✭✭lyndonjones

As previous member stated Miley announced 2 extra London dates 19/20 of Dec this from what I can see there is no opportunity of an extra Irish date.

I emailed Aiken promotions and they more or less confirmed that there would be no more Irish dates they did say that if there was it would be on their website immediately.

Tickets for the London show went on sale to fan club members this morning with 2,500 seats set aside for them.

If you are going enjoy, tbh think cost is too high with flights etc, it was bad enough having to fork out €92 a ticket for someone who has only 2 albums and in is totally new on the block BUT that is what you will do for your kids eh?? :o

I have 4 tickets for the concert (lucky me) but i used an uncle of mine Amex card to buy the tickets the anti-touting measures where not really there when i went in and only on the general release where they splashed across the screen before you bought the tickets
so do you reckon it will be worth trying to get in without the card holder anyway as he is in UK i used my ticketmaster account to buy the tickets so i have a print out of my account and they will be able to see it was me buying the tickets with a different credit card
How stong will the be about refusing admission

BTW i have tried Ticketmaster and the a stone wall on it and told me our 370 euro is gone and forget about refund and don't show up on the day
