There was blue one at Mosney about 7 or 8 years ago, we let it out of a junction in Dublin and followed it, I remember it was putting out a lot of blue smoke.

.................probably just from all the fuel it was burning ! ;)

There's a good few about nowdays, in addition to the cars mentioned already I know of probably another 5.

There was an add on Carzone for a Rolls Royce Corniche late last year and in the picture were two 600's parked behind. One was a blue one almost completed and another that looked like a parts car, both at a Dublin dealer. I know Junky knows the whereabouts of at least another 1 in Cork

Don't think so. I remember seeing Dev a couple of times when I was a kid and he was driven around in a black Roller, possibily a late 30's early 40's job. Also saw photos of him beside the car.
The rolls with the reg ZJ5000?

Is that pic from the car show in The Point in the late 80's?

Or is it 100 years of Motoring in the RDS in '86?

Could be. Does look a bit more like the RDS all right.

    Hermy, Kevin

Taken in the Point, i think it was the first time it was opened because it still had the pit in the middle, it wasn't actually that great a show there were probably 50 cars in total

The gullwing Merc was taken in the RDS, but i can't remember if it was the Motor Show or the 100 years of Motoring

    I think it might be a replica - on Cartell it registers as a Ford Mustang - 5.7L - a 302 would be 4.9

    Impossible to tell though -

If it is real, I wouldn't be surprised if it made close to $500,000 at the likes of Barret Jackson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 813 ✭✭✭Kevin_Herron

Id imagine it is a replica.

I didnt think the Boss Mustangs were available with auto trans or had chrome around the rear lights or cut outs for the exhausts, maybe it was an option?

It doesnt take from the fact that its a cracking looking car. Grabber blue is an excellent colour on those Mustangs, unfortunetly you dont see it enough!

Defo a tribute car, quite a few bits wrong for a proper Boss, anyhow it would cost that much for a real one that it would probably not be driven regularly or certainly not left in a B&Q carpark, although I do see the driver took care to take up two spots!

    Sweet motor mind you!

G Luxel, the first car in the Buenos Aires pics is a Second Gen Plymouth GTX, kinda a 'Ghia' model of the Road Runner. Came with a 440 engine as standard IIRC.

The first car in the Buenos Aires is some sort of export model- It shares almost no similarities to the U.S models.

    Its a weird looking car.

What makes you think it's not an original model Kevin?

Just by looking at it- it looks nothing like a U.S GTX, look at the big roundy wheel arches!
