Jerry Lawler and the Honky Tonk Man are cousins.

speaking of extended families Rosey who was the S.H.I.T (super hero in training) and in 3 minute warning is the son of former professional wrestler Sika Anoa'i, who competed as one half of the Wild Samoans. He is a cousin of former wrestling star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Other cousins also include Eddie Fatu (currently known as Umaga), Rikishi, Tonga Kid, Sim Snuka, and Yokozuna. His brother, Joe Anoa'i, was the starting defensive tackle for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team.

Some things i remember reading in magazines or on the net. May not all be 100% accurate, but for the most part they are (that is, i definitely read them, but i'm not sure where, so i dunno how accuarate the 'source' was):

If a WWE performer wants to cut his hair, he must clear it with WWE first. Examples of this include Test (who wanted a fresh look) and Kane (which lead to his unmasking).

WWE wrestlers are required to dress "smartly" at all times when in the public eye. The only exceptions that I am aware of are The Undertaker, John Cena and Mick Foley (when he was employed by WWE, obviously)

Molly Holly wanted to be a part of the WrestleMania XX card so badly, she offered to shave her head.

If WWE referees actually enforced the rules to the matches, Undertaker would have been disqualified on the spot at WrestleMania XIX. The match was declared a two on one handicap between himself and A-Train/Big Show. However, Nathan Jones interfered, entered the ring, and in clear view of the referee (who was fully conscious and hadn't been hit) kicked A-Train in the face, resulting in him walking into Undertaker's tombstone.

In 2008, WWE Action Figures were the third most collected action figure in the world.

WWE have said Kane wore a mask to hide his burned face, Hurricane because he hides his identity, Mankind because is demented and scarred, Rey because of his mexican heritage. WWE, to the best of my knowledge, never acknowledged, nor gave a reason for, Ultimo Dragon's mask.

Stacy Keibler and Undertaker have both used entrance themes by Kid Rock. However, the themes have always been removed or edited from anything officially released by WWE. For example, neither theme have ever appeared on a DVD or a videogame. Undertaker's was usually replaced with the RAW theme "Thorn in your eye" and Stacy's with a generic, mildly similar, production theme.

Hulk Hogan's theme, Voodoo Child was edited out of the WrestleMania XIX Documentary which accompanied WrestleMania XX as a bonus disc. The theme appears on the WrestleMania XIX DVD however.

Up until approximately 2004, Jerry The King Lawler's entrance video featured a fully visible, un-blurred WWF logo in the background.

During a Velocity match before (Involving Snitzky, I believe) Josh Matthews begins to talk about Snitzky's teeth. He references that he should visit Isaac Yankem, and goes on to say how similar Isaac Yankem and Kane look, and that they could be related. Whilst this commentary aired on WWE.com's showing of Velocity at the time, it was cut out and replaced with silence for the TV airing of the show.

At Survivor Series 2003, Hardcore Holly was disqualified from the match. Oddly, he was disqualified before the match had begun.

At WrestleMania XIX, Tony Chimel announced that "WWE's most favourite band in the whole wide world" were Limp Bizkit. However, statistically, Saliva would prove to be more popular with the McMahon family. Their music has been used more often for Superstar entrance themes and Pay Per Views than Limp Bizkit. However, Saliva and Motorhead are drawn for live appearances at WWE events. Both have performed at two seperate WWE events.

Motorhead performed live at WrestleManias' X-Seven and 21.
Saliva Performed live at WrestleMania X8 and Survivor Series 2002 (Via "The World").

Saliva, however, have performed more tracks live. They performed more than once at WrestleMania X8.

During the release and hype for WWE The Music: Volume 9, The CD would occassionally appear on-screen in a graphic when a wrestler walked to the ring, if his theme appeared on the CD. This happened several times with Chris Jericho. Sadly, his theme at the time wasn't on the CD. The CD featured a different version of the song he used. This also happened during the relase of Forceable Entry. The CD appeared during Kane's entrance numerous times. Unfortunately for most of the world, his theme song would only appear on the Canadian version of the album. WWE never mentioned this.

In the world of WWE action figures, no "bad" words can be used. For example:

Steve Austin's "Unleash Hell" shirt was altered to "Unleash Austin"
Balls Mahoney's action figure is titled "B. Mahoney"
On a Steve Austin figure before, the figure appeared in a classic "Austin 3:16" shirt. However, the image on the front (of the real person) showed him wearing an "Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave" shirt. The figure was released and then pulled. It would be re-relased again with the T-Shirt on the packaging photoshopped. It would be altered to "Arrive. Leave."

The Pepsi logo does not appear on CM Punk's action figure or videogame model. It is usually photoshopped off photos of him.

Floyd Mayweather made approximately $2 million+ from his WrestleMania encounter with The Big Show, and not $20 million as WWE would like us to believe.

That's all i can think of.

Here's an odd action figure related one, back in 1998 WCW released a Scott Steiner action figure complete with the Superman "S" symbol on the figures pants(Steiner had it on his gear at the time), this was the first and only time a piece of merchandise bearing the Superman logo was released that wasnt a Superman related item

    Great post man.

Crush is the only wrestler to be in both Demolition AND the Legion Of Doom (albeit only for a few tour dates)

WCW once employed a team called the Ding Dongs, masked jobbers in bodysuits with bells attached that rang when they wrestled.

Brad Armstrong once used a Spiderman gimmick, he was called Arachnaman. (inventive eh?)

Ric Flair was once asked to wrestle as a gladiator named Spartacus, this was in 1991 when Ric was a well established main eventer and draw.

Moondog Rex (Randy Culley) was the original Smash in Demolition before he was replaced by Barry Darsow.

Sir Oliver Humperdink (Bam Bam Bigelow's manager during his 87-88 WWF babyface run) was once The Freebirds' roadie "Big Daddy Dink".

In dark matches prior to his TV debut Undertaker was known as Kane the undertaker.

In dark matches prior to his TV debut Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) wrestled as Razor Ramone, a biker character whose name was taken from the band of the same name, however when Hall pitched the Cuban gimmick to McMahon and Patterson they were so impressed that they modified the name and went with that.

Can't think of any more off hand.

That's actually not true. There was a youtube video before where the author edited the audio and said he was originally called "Kane The Undertaker". He played footage from Undertaker's Survivor Series debut. Some people fell for it, but it's not true. He was always just "The Undertaker".

    ;)

Channel 4 stopped airing WWE after Royal Rumble 2000 due to Mae Young exposing herself.

To the best of my knowledge, WrestleMania XX is the only WWE event to ever have an actual entrance ramp in Madison Square Garden (as opposed to a flat aisle/walkway).

Hulk Hogan appeared on two episdoes of The A-Team. During these, gunfights broke out. On both occassions, Hogan was directly involved, but did not shoot a gun in either (instead opting to do Mr. T-styled throws).

The Rock has not been a part of WWE for many years. However, up until very recently, he was listed as part of the RAW roster (a few weeks ago he was moved to 'Alumni').

Edge has yet to be pinned at WrestleMania.

Just researched it to double check and apparently he was called Kane the undertaker AFTER Survivor Series for a few weeks before reverting back to simply "The Undertaker"

Here is a link of him as Kane the undertaker wrestling a jobber, audio doesn't seem edited here.

    http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=tvD5wwnSYas&feature=PlayList&p=08F97F04ACEB8A14&index=76

    Also got this from prowrestling.about.com

    Introduction as Kane
Legend: The Undertaker was introduced as Kane the Undertaker in his WWE debut.
False: He was introduced as the Undertaker at the 1990 Survivor Series. This urban legend goes on to say that he was also called Kane for the first few weeks he appeared on TV. That part of the legend is true.

and just to be sure i got this from wrestleview.com

Didn't he start out with a different name?
Yes. He debuted at Survivor Series 1990 simply as The Undertaker. In the weeks after he used the name Kane the Undertaker at house shows and on WWF television. The Kane part was dropped awhile after and he just went by The Undertaker again as he still does.

This video is actually better as it has audio AND visual proof.

    http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=NFE5L00Qhpc&feature=related

So he was called "Kane the undertaker" at one point but seemingly not before his TV debut as i reported. My bad.

I'm fairly sure you are wrong there, as I remember watching InVasion live on Channel 4 back in 2001. I think Mae exposing herself was the reason they didn't renew, but they didn't stop after RR 2000.

Yeah they had a contract and both parties chose not to renew, C4 also weren't happy with the blood at some of the PPVs and WWE weren't happy with C4's editing. I remember Big Show making his return to WWE at the Royal Rumble, after 6 months in developmental, and C4 cut to an advert as he was coming out, another time they went to commercial in the middle of one of Rock's promos, it was disastrous!

Christ, I remember C4 botching some of their ppv editing so badly that they would recut the show and show it in arseways order and the commentary would spoil matches that had already been on but C4 had moved to later in the card. Unbelievable

    A few old ones.....

Shawn Michaels inherited a fortune when a fan wrote him onto his will.

Eddie Guerrero once lost a wrestling match to a toy monkey.

Chyna and Xpac have made a home porn movie.

HHH made his debut in wrestling by beating the Road Dogg.

Val Venis-used to race motocross before joining the WWF.

WWF was the first organization to implement drug testing.

Roddy Piper won the prestigious amateur boxing award, The Golden Gloves, at the age of 15.

A Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt sells every 45 seconds. (Not anymore)

D'Lo Brown is a certified accountant.

Chyna Dated Saturn before entering WWF.

Gangrel's wife is Luna Vachon. (now his ex wife)

Our very own Rocky Maivia is a skilled light tackle salt water fisherman.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was trained by current WCW jobber Chris Adams.

The Man in the Gobbeldy Gooker costume was Hector Guerrero (Eddie Guerrero's brother)

Steve Austin is an antique collector.

Kane (once Issac Yankem) actually did study dentistry for a few months before dropping out.

Debra was once an airline stewardess.

Rick Rude saved Bret Hart's deal with the WCW. Eric Bischoff thought the WWF thing with Vince was a work and was not going to sign Bret. It was Rude who called him, saying he was there and Bret was really screwed.

Ric Flair owns a bar in Charlotte, North Carolina called The South End Brewery.

Scott Norton was once a world champion arm wrestler. He won titles in 7 different countries.

Chyna was once going to teach literacy in Costa Rica for the Peace Corps.

Barry Darsow "Smash" from Demolition was "The Repo Man"

Kane has a teaching degree and has taught as a substitute teacher.

At the first Uncensored card in 1995, Dustin Rennels (Gold Dust) and Blacktop Bully had a "King of the Road" match, waged in the back of a truck. Despite a very strict anti-blood policy being enforced by WCW at the time, Dustin and the Bully both bladed themselves at the behest of booker Mike Graham. All three were fired from WCW in short order, and Dustin showed up in the WWF not long after.

The Disciple has had 12 different identities in his wrestling career. They were "Dizzy" Ed Boulder, Brutus Beefcake, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Furface, Brother Bruti, The Butcher, The Man with No Name, The Man With No Face, The Zodiac Man, The Clipmaster, the Booty Man and most recently the "Disciple".

Vader was on a Kuwaiti talk show in April of 1997, and when host Bassam Al Otham asked whether or not wrestling was fake, Vader essentially lost control and attacked the host. He was detained in Kuwait briefly following the incident, then was allowed to return to the US pending trial. The end result was a whopping $200 US fine and a proverbial smack on the wrist.

Fonzie, the manager of champions, and of RVD and Sabu and former ECW referee, was a ref in the WWF. His most memorable event would be at Wrestlemania IX when he came down to say their were two "doinks" in his match vs Crush. The ref looked under the ring and found no other Doink and Fonzie looked stupid.

Steve Blackman has one of the most successful Wrestling/Karate schools in the US. Too bad it couldn't do anything for his career.

About two weeks before Summerslam 90, Beefcake and B. Brian Blair were parasailing, and an accident caused Blair to go spinning out of control and hit Beefcake in the face with his knees. Beefcake's entire face was shattered, and it ruined his career. His entire face had to be surgically reconstructed almost from scratch, and he didn't fully recover until 1993.

The name "Big Sexy" was actually a name created by Canadian wrestler Luther Biggs who did several try-out matches with WCW under that name? Former WCW booker and current WWF announcer/booker Terry Taylor watched Biggs wrestle, liked the name, and gave it to Kevin Nash.

The Simpsons is a favorite TV show of such wrestlers as Bret Hart, Scott Hall, and Bad Ass Billy Gunn?

Hogan beat Antonio Inoki on June 2, 1983 to become the first IWGP heavyweight champion, a belt that has only been held by 3 Americans.

Chris Jericho is the son of former National Hockey League star Ted Irvine.

At one point in time in the late 80's almost 75% of the WWF wrestlers admitted to or were found to be using steroids?

The knee brace Stone Cold Steve Austin wears, is the result of an injury many years ago when he got his knee caught in the turnbuckle.

In September, 1997 Chris Jericho was inducted into the Canadian Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Hollywood Hogan was "retired" for 39 days.

Originally the WWF was called WWWF, Then in mid 1979 Vince McMahon Sr. changed the name to just the WWF.

Buddy Rogers, who is recognized as the first ever WWF champ, never won the belt. Instead, Rogers was awarded the WWWF title (The WWF title but it was called WWWF at the time) in mid-April 1963, with the explanation that he has won a (fictitious) tournament in Rio de Janeiro. Buddy was the NWA champ and lost the belt before this to Lou Thesz but neither were reconized as WWF champ yet.

The first ever Wrestlemania was March 31, 1985 in Madison Square Garden.

The 1-2-3 Kid (X-pac) and Bob Holly were tag champs. They beat Diesel and Shawn Michaels.

Former WWF manager Mr Fuji is a 5 time former WWF tag team champ.

Bill Goldberg was an 11th round draft pick of the Rams in 1990.

Goldberg, who was out of football, was drafted by the Carolina Panthers 1995 expansion draft. 33rd of 35 picks for Panthers.

Duane (The Rock) played for the Calgary Stampeders for three years.

At the 1990 SummerSlam in his match against earthquake, Hulk Hogan performed a combined 5 moves (excluding the punch). His moves included: big boot, shoulder block, atomic leg drop, body slam, clothesline.

Harlem Heat were the most decorated WCW tag team. They have been Tag Champs seven times. The Steiners are just behind with six.

Edge was trained at Sully's Gym by Ron Hutchison and Sweet Daddy Siki after winning a 1992 essay contest on "Why I Wanted To Be A Pro Wrestler" conducted by the Toronto Star newspaper.

HHH in his first match with WCW in 1994 faced Brian Armstrong, now Road Dogg Jesse James, and defeated him.

Yokozuna was not the largest man ever to wrestle in WWF or WCW, The largest was LOCH NESS MONSTER, a former member of the dungeon of Doom, and weighed far over 600 lbs when he was wrestling.

Chyna studied wrestling under the legendary Killer Kowalski, he is the same man that trained HHH.
