There are loads of people doing the same sort of thing, football agents, lawyers etc but Max Clifford is just better known.

Look at the guy who claimed compensation from a hospital for telling him to put his camera down whilst the mid wife carried out an emergency procedure on his new born child, how is the lawyer who represented him any better?

Clifford is a millionaire because he's good at what he does and the people who want to use him have to pay him top dollar.
There would be no need for Max Clifford if the general public were not quite so loony tunes obsessed by celebrities. So, really, it's us who've made it possible for Clifford to be a millionaire.

Ah, now the mistake you're making there is in thnking we all eqate success with money. Conning would be celebrities is not really difficult, but it does require you to put your morals on hold.
