    No, I'm saying you know more than you let on. You're ignoring some of what I'm saying in order to suit your argument.
    My point is that its not the specifics of what you learn in geometry or whatever, its that it shapes the way you make decisions throughout your everyday life in ways that you don't notice.
    That's a fair point and again it's why I think the cut-off point should be after the Junior Cert. That's eight years of primary level, three years of post-primary. I don't see the point in adding to the stress of a person's Leaving Certificate.

    Irish is doing well, but could be doing alot better. The over dependence on learning about poetry and mythology (pros / old short stories) is very difficult in leaving and junior cert, this should nearly be a subject in itself. It turns the irish exam into a memory test.

    That was really interesting! Very different from the Welsh style of sining. More down to earth and raw , I think!

    Here is a Welsh song called 'Hiraeth'. It kind of means ' intense longing', but there is no direct English translation from Welsh. He's sining about how much he misses Wales, and what it used to be. The translated lyrics are in the 'info' section.
