i was wondering where the LL would stand on this??

is a girl kissing another girl while in a relationship perceived as cheating??

most lads(myself included) find the thought of two girls kissing pretty hot!

However if my gf were to be kissing another girl on a drunken night out id actually get a bit pissed off!!!

is there something wrong with me?!or does anyone else find this makes sense!!

TBH would it really bother you if she was kissing a mate for a laugh or are you asking as if it was intentional and they were at it all night?

I'd say it would bother her if he was kissing his (girl) mate for a laugh.

Yeah, cos that's the only reason a girl would want to kiss another girl

In my head, kissing another girl wouldn't be classed as 'cheating' at all, I wouldn't consider it so... but if I was in a relationship, I wouldn't do it unless I'd talked about it with my partner and he was ok with it.

What if he wanted to kiss a bloke, or another girl? I wouldn't be that bothered though.

Wouldn't have a problem with him kissing a bloke, as long as he'd told me he was bicurious before he did it and knew it was ok with me.

I'd have a huge problem with him kissing another girl, though.

    Rioght....

So why would a girl kiss another girl ? when she in a reletionship with some one else, please feel free to inlightin me ?

I would perceive it as cheating.

Experimentation is great and all but it's not cool if you're already going out with somebody else.

Because she's bisexual or bicurious and kissing a girl is different to kissing a guy?

And like I said, it's only ok if your partner has cleared it beforehand. The only definition of cheating that matters in a case like this is your partner's, so unless you find out what they think first, it's just irresponsible.

I think there's something wrong with you. Why are you asking people does it make sense to be annoyed if your girlfirend snogged someone else?

Yes if her partner views it as that with in the context of their relationship.

Do you want to explain that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,503 ✭✭✭✭jellie

if your gf is kissing a girl she either..

    a) is doing it for attention
    or
    b) wants to kiss other people

if its a) do you want an attention seeker for a gf
if its b) do you want your gf cheating

If I have to explain that bi curious is just another name for a socially/emotionally/sexually retarded teenager who needs to take down the placebo poster.....then sure...consider it done.

I must say I'd be the opposite end of the spectrum - if my bf kissed either a man or woman I'd be equally annoyed!

I thought that this would be the typical view but it will be interesting to see whether other Loungers would be of the more lenient shellyboo view.

Thats a pretty big genrlization there...

    bare with me here

Your in a steady reletioship with some one, you decide your bi curious..
Why in hell are you in a reletionship if you decided you where bi curious? If he agreed that you could kiss girls, does this mean he could kiss other girls to ?

Post reported for being insulting to peoples sexual orientation and being personally abusive.

Just because you are bi courous or even bisexual and in a relationship with a person of one gender
that does not mean you won't find people of the other gender attractive.

It does how ever mean that you do not act on it in a way which breaks
the terms of your relationship and if you find those terms to be too restrictive
then you should break up and them move on.

As for what ever arrangements or agreements people have with in the terms of their relationships
that is between them and of no concern of anyone else unless it effects the directly.

I highly doubt it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in a minority of one on this. Prove me wrong, tLLers!

Why shouldn't a bisexual/bicurious person be in a relationship? They're just as entitled to be in one as a straight or gay person.

No, it doesn't mean that he could kiss other girls, but it does mean that he could kiss other guys.
I'm not saying this should be allowed in all relationships, if someone considers it cheating then absolutely not, it's off limits. But if I have a boyfriend who's happy for me to experiment with women, then where's the harm? I'd be happy for him to experiment with men too, if he wanted.

As for a generalisation... it's not. It's fact. Kissing a girl feels different to kissing a guy. Unless you've kissed a guy, you're not in a position to dispute this.

I'd consider it cheating regardless of the gender of the person.

I think Shelly's point is that it's not cheating if both partners consent to it.

Referring to people who are bicurious as socially/emotionally retarded teenagers is pretty offensive, although I guess it's not as offensive as it is mindnumbingly stupid and ignorant.
