    Just to coin in.. as soon as I heard JLS were singing 'Stand by Me / Beautiful Girl', I knew they were safe. I knew Rachel would have the stronger voice and performance.. but it's such a safe song choice from them.

    PS - one Britney song next time, one American classic by each contestant.

    Louis shot his own act in the foot tonight. It was quite blatant that the reason that Dannii was crying was because Louis had bullied her during the ad break. She had every right to pick that song for Rachel as Simon said and Louis just showed how much of a petty little man he is. And respect to the audience, they punished him for his pathetic behaviour.

    As far as the sing off goes, Rachel did better but Simon's reason for sending her home was right,couldn't argue with it.

    In regards to next week, they have to sing a Britney song?:rolleyes: Thank christ they are singing two songs, that's all I've got to say!:p

    louis will have to pick a good song from britney for jls to sing

    can't think of any britney songs off hand at the moment (after having a glass or two of wine - might have that affect or maybe not!!);)

    it maybe a soap opera like a lot of things on tv, i didn't see the show earlier but according to the www she is upset about comments louis made and i would believe louis will speak his mind and tell people how he really feels about them. who doesn't like a bit of soap opera!:)
