Good man Jamieh, thats the best collection of cars I've seen in a while. Were they all taken in Monaco?

Did you see how much of the Maybach was still sticking out of the parking spot? And that was the 'short' 57 version. Those things must be a nightmare to drive around cities in (for the driver obviously, i doubt the Simon Cowel in the back gives those sort of things a second thought).

Just wondering again are you allowed to take the cars out into the twisty stuff or are you restricted to stay within a certain boundary?

And if you were gonna go to all that bother to make a GT500 replica, you would get a fastback to start with....

Yeah fantastic motor. Is it just me though or does the wing mirror look a bit strange, almost as if it has been photoshopped? (which it obviously hasnt)

Hi Kev...sorry about the delay replying to you man.

There was no mention of boundarys anyway. There's a few great roads you can drive to around Cap d'Ail which is only 5-10 out from Monaco.

Obviously, for the curcuit trip your limited to the circuit. But for the €350 hourly rental you wouldn't be half as confined.

My pic is pale in comparison to the previous post but more rare perhaps??

I've never seen a Tata (although I know there are some Safaris around) left alone a Tata pickup!

I reckon Top Gear should re-do the tests they did on the Hilux with the Tata and see how it fares!

I may be wrong but is that not just a company name (eg building company etc) as opposed to the make of pickup?

I like to think it drove all the way from India with a few lads in the back but I somehow doubt it!

Pretty sure the guy never thought he would be getting people taking pictures of his pickup, he looked a little surprised when I was checking it out.

Beginning to think i should have left it for a few weeks to post these given the quality of jaw-dropping metal above in the past week or so.

But was clearing out the phone today and found these. Some from quite a while ago. Crappy camera phone so sorry for quality.

Go away for a few days and there's 4 pages of great spots! Thanks lads, they where a pleasure to look at. Must consider Monaco and the ring for future holidays! Couple of pre-production cars in between the ring pics, new porsche 4 door, merc and the camouflaged one, nice!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,266 ✭✭✭MercMad

Nice selection there Jamieh, some superb cars. I have to say I really dislike the trend towards black wheels, very few cars look better with them. Anthracite arent bad but black really suits very few cars.

I love Tossy's selction too, plenty of pre production cars there, new Cayenne, next years 4 door saloon Porsche and I reckon this is the MY10 Merc E-Class out late in '09

it was without a doubt the new insignia there was an opel badge on the back but it must have been an OPC version or at least OPC engine as the roar out of it was sweet and it moved.
