Post reported. Absolutely no need for that. Fair enough degsy's opinion is as outdated as an episode of Glenroe but there's no need to resort to personal abuse.

Pigheads happy enough in his own masculine shell to be confident enough to post in places like the ladies lounge and fashion appearance. Real men are adaptable.

This is the man I look up to, a real man, a man's man. What a hero to have. By the way I drink Baileys...and like it, although not too often, it is quite heavy. Off now to make cupcakes and coffee (I grind my own beans)

And DEFINITELY insecure if it bothers you that much...

    Your "logic" doesnt scan.
I assume you dress, act and eat like a woman for all this to bother you.

Yes Ikky, you're defending it, therefore you ARE it... :p

I'm not a fan of that metrosexual stuff either - a guy doing allor any of the following is generally a no-no:

    - Sunbeds
    - Spray tan
    - Hair straightening
    - Styling their hair - as in, unable to leave the house until it's exactly the way they want it
    - Diamanté earrings
    - Hairbands - not those cloth things that some guys with long hair have to wear if they're working in bars, restaurants etc but actual hard hairbands like this: http://www.dkimages.com/discover/previews/945/15022981.JPG
    - Following the current "style"

A lot of rough scobes do the above, it's not necessarily effeminate. And plenty of gay guys would run a mile before doing any of it.

I don't have time for neanderthals either though. And eating a panini, which is ostensibly a toasted sandwich... a lot of cafés/restaurants sell those now and they're very tasty so why not?

Haha you just described my little brother, Dudess. He's sooooo ghey but wont come out even tho we all told him its ok. My mam begs him to dress like a normal guy for fear he'll get beatin up everytime he goes out :)

because they're a crappy excuse for a meal, they're overpriced and they never contain anything substantial.
    Oh yeah,and they're gheeey!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 37,214 ✭✭✭✭Dudess

But you could say that about all sandwiches (the overpriced, unsubstantial stuff, that is).

Are you definite he's gay though? Cuz lots of straight guys do that stuff.

I border somewhere between the neanderthal and early homosapian period man.
    Coffee no milk no sugar

if one chooses to be a ghey type mocha drinker.. Good 4 u.

    Ah, I see.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Ah, I see.

It wouldnt bother me.If you cant make up your mind about your gender thats hardly my concern.

As much as it pains me to admit this, Degsy is right to a certain point. I wouldn't be as neanderthal or homophobic as he but yeah what the hell is happening to men?

I don't have a problem with continental food and it's always a good thing to be able to cook but they are becoming far too effeminate.

Nah he's not he's a male slapper but we still call him it anyway :)

Ah but i'm not homophobic. If somebody wants to be gay thats thier own business and i've met enough gay people over the years not to be bothered by them. Its when allegedly straight people behave like gays because thats "the fashion" and they cant see for themselves what they're turning into.Thats my problem.
Try and get " a cup of coffee" in dublin and see what nonsense is said to you.Its alrite for girls who think they live on Laguna Beach to go on like this but men..??

Whatever happened to real men? Who couild express themseves openly without having to worry what someone else is thinking? Christ, it'll be hushed celeb gossip at the water cooler next...
When i was in my teens and began shaving i used Nivea as aftershave moisturiser * cue strange looks and guffahs from my peers * I didnt give a frig what anybody thought then (still dont) as it was good for my skin .Now every other bugger uses it and it's advertised eveywere ( i was obiously ahead of my time) ;)

    Panini's are quite tasty.

I say this, yet I'm as manly as can be.

I could argue that I have made up my mind and am happy with my choice - it's you who is coming across as being 'bothered' by it. Why do people with long hair bother you? Why do people buying sandwiches bother you? Why the objections?

I'm beginning to think that you're a lot more bothered by all this than you're letting on. It's like Al Murray - I was NEVAH confused!! But looking completely horrified at the same time

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Ah feck the gheyness, I'm a girl and 99.9% of the blokes I deal with (and I work in IT) are genuinely good blokes who wouldn't dream of not opening a door/not helping out a girl who was hurt etc.

    Maybe I'm lucky lol

what started out as a bit of a tongue in cheek dig at the metrosexual trend we've been experiencing lately has turned very suspect, those jumping so passionately on the defensive sound more ghey than any baileys drinking, pannini eating man looks...stop being such sissies and learn how to take a joke :)

Lots of people in this thread appear to be very insecure. :pac:
