^ I remember seeing a UK reg. Mini Cooper when I was over there last. Not something I expected to see!

Also, noting the state of the paintwork on many of the cars there, haven't Americans ever heard of a product called 'Turtle Wax'...

I took this picture at the Kilbeggan show in 2005. It has a 400 cubic inch (6.5L in the new money) V8 in it!

Is it at owen reddy motors? I think its been given away in a draw there, when you buy a car from them, for every 10 grand you spend you get a ticket for the raffle, seems a bit unusual,i think that capri was for sale there for awhile.

Some nice shots from the US there !

AFAIK California has the toughest smog legislation so its tougher to get the cars through the test. Certain cars are exempt from certain parts of the test though, but basically if your car runs they way it should then it'll be legal on the streets.

The sun does pay havoc with the paint indeed and its funny to see all cars parked with their wheels to the kerb. Can you imagine Irish folk remembering to do that !!

I think in Europe there was never an "M6" but there was an "M635CSi" and in the US this was probably badged "M6"

    yeah sure is!
just having a slight problem with the head lights, keep blowing fuses....
    other than that its perfect...

yo, glad to see the old bus is still going strong!

Did you buy it in Kerry?

BTW I broek both fog lamp bulbs in their holders so perhaps that is an issue, and there is a screw or two missing in the headlight surrounds :)

In fairness, some of the streets in San Francisco have excessive gradients - much worse than anything I've seen here. St Patrick's Hill(?) in Cork for example, is in the ha'penny place!

(Must be fun for learners doing hillstarts ;))

Colm Healy owned and drove that Trekker daily a few years ago. I presume he still has it, it has been in his family since it was trialled by the Irish Army when it was new.
