A neighbour of my parents passed away years before I was born. A few days after the funeral my dad was walking with a friend of his and they met the man who had died on the road. They both were calm, he looked so normal and said hello to them as if he was still alive. The guy with my dad is a messer and I wouldn't belief a word he'd say but my father is very reserved/quiet and wouldn't make jokes about things like that. He went to the parish priest and asked him to say another mass for the man as he felt he mustn't have been at peace yet.
