I'm sure in a couple of months someone will have it done anyway!

TouchPadPro is awesome folks! Downloaded it yesterday and it's cool, but paid €15 for the ScreenView feature today. Quality. I was sitting out my back garden in the sun, adding songs to my playlist, and messing around generally. Defo worth downloading IMO.

lads how do i get mms going on my iphone

im on meteor

i rang meteor and they said i should re-input the settings for edge and they'll do the rest from there side ???

Hi Guys,

As said earlier bought an iPhone from the States a few days back and everything works perfect bar one thing - it freezes an awful lot. The phone is unlocked and there is a vodafone sim in it. In some areas of the house the phone works perfectly and un-freezes but in others it just freezes up and does nothing. Also its the same out n about, freezes in some places and doesnt work at all, and other works perfectly normal. Does anyone no whats going wrong at all, ive upgraded my sim and that doesnt seem to be the problem. Any info greatly appreciated as its doing my head in so bad at this stage. Thanks in advance for info. Pm or write back here. Cheers David

You can use it on Meteor if you have a jailbroken iPhone download SwirlyMMS from installer and enter the following settings:

MMSC: mms.mymeteor.ie
Proxy: 10.85.85.85:8799

APN: mms.mymeteor.ie
username: my
password: wap

Save that send an MMS and you're in business. Works great.

Guys , I was getting the disc space error , so I installed the fix , but I got main script error . NOW the installer and some apps have disappeared .....

Any Ideas ????:eek:

Hi all
Im hoping to pick up an iphone today , it will be unlocked and jailbroken so Im just wondering will I have to do anything to it in order for it to work , or is it just a case of pop in my sim and away I go ?

if you're getting it jailbroken/unlocked then it is just a matter of sticking in your sim and away you go...

No it wont lock again unless you update the firmware so presuming it is on 1.1.4 it wont ask you till 1.2.0 is released you can just say no and don't ask me again

Hi all I have my iphone now and its on version 1.1.3 modem f/w 04.02.13g, what is the safest way to update to 1.1.4 and unlock, jailbreak etc..
Newbie here so I dont want to mess anything up

Ok so ive downloaded iliberty(windows) and ive had to install an update patch, should i tick all 6 boxes to unlock(inc Cydia)
And should I leave my sim card in while unlocking?

Basquille has a safari link that allows you to do that you can set a link to your home screen just look for basquilles thread

Ye know the port for plugging the USB cable into the iPhone? The dirt and crap that invariable ends up in my pockets keeps on getting into there, and it's got an unhealthy build-up of grime at this point. I'm worried it'll damage the phone eventually. Anyone know a remedy? I was thinking of using compressed air to blast it out, but a bottle costs €18... any ideas?

Dirt also got into the headphone socket to the point that the phone thought the headphones were actually in it! Which meant when I made a call I couldn't hear or speak to anyone. Fixed it though

You can add the old installer from the advanced options in iliberty+ then add rep.frenchiphone.com to sources then you can install simport from there bit of a pain but easier than entering all your contacts

There is a program called Freeteor which is based on the message sending code from JSMS that works on iPhone...

I actually installed the installer through Cydia, Is this ok or will there be conflicts between the two?

Edit- just installed simport and seems to be fine , am I ok using installer and cydia?

well my iPhone went t*ts up last night while reviewing the new 3G iphone on the web, i was installing a new Theme and it froze near the end of the installation, holding down the home button didnt work so i tried to reset it by holding down home+sleep button for a 10 secs or so but this didn't work tried it again and it reset the phone alright but put it into recovery mode :mad:

so i just went onto iTunes and restored my pwned imagine and that worked but for some reason now email will not work on it, you press the email icon and it comes on for a split second and then closes the app.

Question is i should restore the phone to the OTB 1.1.4 firmware and then use the pwned tool to unlock it again?? Can't see any other way around it can anybody else before I do this?

I'm selling my launch day IPhone which I bought from O2, to a friend of mine. Will they still need to unlock it if they buy an O2 3G SIM card or the latest SIM?

They currently are not on a O2 contract as they are pay as you go with Vodafone.

I'm going to upgrade to the 3G Iphone when it launches.

Any O2 Irl SIM will work in an iPhone bought here.
