this happened about 12 years ago.
my friend and her boyfriend went to cork for the weekend,condom burst so she went to doc next day for m.a.p. he asked did she ever take it b4,(she hadnt)he then said he had to carry out a procedure and gave her an internal,she didnt know any better and thought this was routine!

Yep.

Rape is the penetration of the Vagina by a penis without consent. Anything else is varying forms of Sexual Assault. e.g. A woman can never be convicted of "Rape" other then as an accessory. Also, if she consented to having sex with someone claiming to be a doctor it's still OK consent because she consented to the physical act being carried out, even if it turned out to be based on a false pretence (there are cases on this point). The only way I can see how your man could be convicted of rape would be if he told her that it was a form of medical treatment (i.e. she consented to a medical procedure and not sex) or she can prove that the only reason she consented was because he was a doctor and nothing else, very very very hard to prove and probably wouldn't stand up in court anyway.

So in this case she must have had sex without consenting to it at the time for your man to be convicted. i.e. the usual type of rape that everyone associates with the crime, being forcing someone to have sex against their will and not a technical type of rape, i.e. where consent can be nullified.

I was discusted to see some of ye actually making skits and jokes about what constitutes rape. The poor girl, he must be such a sicko. It says that he assualted her aswel, maybe the rape happened that night. Does anyone know what is happening with the case no... i hope he is locked up.
