Hey folks,

Just wondering if there is any app on Installer that allows me to send music to my hi-fi via air tunes? Would be great to be able to do that without having to use my Mac!

i have a stealth sim on my i-phone which works great , i have some updates on my installer , is it safe to run them or would it lock my i-phone , i have the 1.1.2 version !

hi cd, i used Bossprefs to switch off edge but the little edge icon still shows up on the top of the phone, i dont have edge set up just dont want it using battery. regards chriskat

Really weird problem with my dad's iphone.

He has an iphone running 1.1.4 on o2 bill pay. The phone is unlocked bought from the US

I want to turn off edge using bossprefs. Everytime I do it, immediately it pin locks the phone option and when you re-enter the pin, edge is reactivated.

I decided then to just delete the settings in the setting menu, which is not located in settings->general->network.

It looks like the iphone gets the edge setting from the sim card cause he never inputted them originally into the iphone nor did anyone else.

Any suggestions in how I might be able to turn off edge permanently.

hey guys. want guidance on a couple of things

firstly
I want to wipe an iphone of all the stuff i have on it as im going selling this. How do i go about doing this? Also when i was downloading applications using installer i have somehow managed to lose the little icon of my screen. the home page is full of applications now but no installer and I cant move the screen side ways like others to see other applications. anyone know why?

Secondly
for a friend where is installer available to download for a 1.1.2 version. he used Ziphone and installer was not there when the programme had ran

yeah its off if you want to double check set it up then turn it off

hey cd have you any solution to turning off edge permanently for my dad's iphone.

I've tried using bossprefs and it does not work, also it does not have an edge settings menu in the settings menu

there is a plist which you can edit to get you back the edge settings menu you can also remove the o2 settings from the plist i think

to get rid of all your stuff you could restore it but the phone will need to be jailbroken again

For your friend dont use Ziphone other than that update to 1.1.4 then use iliberty+
Or if he wants to continue using ****e run Ziphone again but select only jailbreak and installer (ie NOT do it all ) but personally i would not use that crap

no problem its because he is using an o2 sim card it sets up edge automatically and removes the edge menu you could also try switching to a meteor or vodafone sim you should get the edge menu back then enter nonsense and save it it will probably revert back to O2 settings automatically when you put the O2 card back in but might be worth a try

Not too happy with the latest Installer myself. Using 1.1.4 and it just seems less stable than before. They shouldn't have gone messing around with it!

yup i don't like the new installer, mainly for this new add to queue thing and clear from queue. at least let me see what's' in the damn queue before i'm sure whether to clear it or not.

Apparently they've added the ability to refresh a single source.. and that's about f*cking time!

Hi everyone, can anyone please help me with the Bluetooth on my iPhone. I want to send and recieve files using it but it just constantly says it is searching for devices. In settings I switch on bluetooth and under devices it says "Searching" and will stay searching forever! Please help as it's doing my head in..Thanks

Mine doesn't even pick up other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity though. I thought upgrading to 1.1.4 would help, but nothing. Anyone know a fix?

Did you install the latest community sources

It could be something else you have installed what else have you on it

nope it only came in on 1.1.3 afaik. as i had a 1.1.2 phone jailbroke and it didn't have the queuing system.

Hi all, I hope this is the right place to post but I'm heading to the states on friday and I'm thinking strongly about getting an iphone. Has anyone any idea how much one is without a contract from AT&T? Any help is apprieciated! Also do i get them in an apple store or where??

I dont know the complciations of buying an iPhone in America is, I'm sure someone else will be able to come along and answer that.

I will say however that A)you may struggle to get one as stocks are low because

they are expected to bring out a new 3G in June. The 6th if I am correct. So if you get one be prepared for it to be "old" within a few days.

you are aware that an updated iphone is out in two weeks time. may be better to wait.

they cost 400 dollars and you can get it in a apple store afaik
