I found a banana at the bottom of my bag yesterday that had dried out totally, was like a black banana-shaped piece of cardboard.

    Didn't taste too good though.

    :D:D:D

About five years ago when I was a beginner, myself and a mate were playing a round and the conversation went like this.

ME (rumaging through my bag): "Jimmy, where's my f*ckin Mars Bar?"
    JIMMY: "What Mars Bar?"
ME: "Ye know the Mars Bar I'm talking about - give it back to me ye robbin b*stard!"
JIMMY (laughin): "Dunno what you're talkin about..."

and so on, back and forte for a few mins before I gave up and muttered me way hungrily through the remainder of the round

About a year later, I was giving the bag it's annual clean-out and I came across, of course, right down the very bottom, an old mouldy Mars Bar - the wrapper had gone white n all at that stage! :D

Poor Jimmy - I didn't leave the lad with a name, called him all types of F'in this and F'in that... :D Ah well!

Changed the R7 425 for a Burner TP 10.5 Stiff 65g last year, started hitting alot more fairways!

What is it with Taylormade, why do they bring out new equipment so often. As soon as you buy a club its nearly out of date. At least Titleist and Ping give you a bit of time.

Just picked up a Ping G10 3 wood with the Red ProLaunch shaft to match my driver.

Haven't hit it yet but it sits very, very well and I'm uber-happy with the driver so I expect I've got the right stick for me.

Hope you have better luck with yours than i'm having with mine. I like the driver, but the 3-wood is taking some time to settle.

I really struggle to get it more than a few feet off the deck. Thinking i might need something with a touch more loft on it.

Even with a tee i'm not hitting it the best either.

Haha, great! Cos you were bitching about the driver before I got mine as well and that worked out perfectly so I now assume the 3 wood will also be a succesful addition! ;)

I'll let you know how I get on when I hit it. I hit the ball extremely high in general so don't think I'll have the same problem. If I have an issue it might be cos it's a bit too low profile for me so initially I'd be wary of hitting off the tee but I'm sure after a few hits I'll be happy.

Great... hopefully you starting to hit it well will culminate in being doing likewise. If i'm being honest, i probably just haven't practiced with it enough yet. Too many competitive rounds, not enough practicing!!
