thats solid, could drop a wood and carry a lob wedge maybe as would use it a lot more but thats more a personal preference.

Good thing about the ram is it must be easier to get the ball to stop on the green from long range.

I used to carry all sorts of mismatched clubs, each one of course was essential to my perfect game!! Anyway last year I decided it was time to upgrade and consolidate. I got rid of my Perfect Driver, Ping i3 3 wood, no name 5wood and 7 wood, cloned irons, Ping Putter, no to mention my Momentus Pitching Wedge and Ben Hogan Sand Wedge.
I purchased a new set of Benross Combos (hybrid 3+4 irons) which I absolutely love. These things are so forgiving its like cheating. ( I bought them in Nevada Bobs which was my favorite golf shop)

So my current bag is made up as follows:

WHIP IT!

Driver: Ping G5 10.5* - toying with the idea of getting a half degree taken off it. Just going a bit to high.

Fairway Wood: Cheap ass yolk I picked up for €20. Does the job fine but I prefer a 4/5 iron from the fairway , especially getting into the dryer months when the ball runs further.

Irons: Mizuno X19. Very nice clubs for a mid-handicapper (14.6 at the min)
GW: 52* wedge I picked up in the Golf Factory in Cherry Orchard for next to nothing. Nice wedge, it's all rusted up now and gets a nice bit of action around the green - well, as much as I'll ever need anyway.
LW: Jack Nicklaus 60* - lovely wedge, very fond of it.

Putter: Just got a Ping Craz-E mallet head style. Lovely feel off it.

Trolley: Have a Pulsar Elec trolley for about 18months or so, so far so good.

Driver - Cleveland Launcher 460, 9.5 Degree, Fujikura Stiff shaft, enquired about getting it toed out as my bad drive is a high draw/hook. Pro said it wasn't possible so he offset my grip a little so the face is slightly open at address. Driving is much more consistent and Straight now!

Fairway woods - 3W Ping G5, 15 Degree, Aldila NV65 Stiff Shaft (got this last year and still not sure if it suits me). 5W TM R7, 19 Degree, TM Stiff shaft (took me a few rounds to master but now it's my favourite club)

Irons - 4-SW, TM LTII with stiff TM shafts. Gap wedge - TM TP Black 52 Degree, Lob wedge - Cleveland CG11 Black Pearl 60 Degree

Pretty out of date given that it's been a couple of years since I've played competitively but getting back into it and replaced the driver. A new 3 wood is really all I'd change now cos I like the rest and I don't think there's as much gain in new iron technology as there is in woods.
