Haiti has under 9 million people. If 2-3% of its entire population die from the affects of poverty there per year and it hasnt made the news, or hasnt caused an exodus of boat people to the US like in the early 90s, Ill eat my own head. This is worse than when Maddie disappeared everyone going on about dozens of Afircan children going missing in London without a word about it (the reason there wasnt a word about it being that there is a difference between a girl being kidnapped from an apartment and a family with no local connections simply returning to their homeland without telling anyone. pfft)

Id qustion where the profits would go. The film company would not make it for free, so they would be profiteering. The cinema wouldnt show it for free, more profit for someone. And as for the McCanns, wasnt there word they had dipped into this ludicrous charity fund to pay for their accomodation in Portugal and to pay off part of their mortgage? (how in the first place it is even legal to solicit donations for a child you lost through criminal neglect beats me)
