I'm a millionaire. Ask anyone in Shannon :D

Nah seriously, my mates started a rumour in Shannon about two years ago that I won the lotto. I was out that night in the local wearing a suit - because I had just graduated from college, I think it was a diploma at the time. I proceeded into the nightclub and my mate was djing, and he announced over the mic that I won the lotto and that rounds were on me. I was freaked, and weasled my way out of not buying everyone drinks - thankfully because I had like 50 euro on me. That night was amazing, women will do anything when they think you have money, if you know what I mean ;)
I thought nothing of it and went back to Tralee, my parents on the other hand were living a nightmare. They couldn't go shopping without getting stopped by people. My father was stopped four times going down one isle in Tesco's and he just had to leave. My cousin called my mother from SPAIN to ask if it was true, the rumour reached that far! It was gas. I had girls asking me to marry them, and guys I didn't know asking me for 12 grand. Best night of my life :)

So then, I get in a taxi last Monday, and the driver gives off to me for not tipping him when I'm leaving the cab - he says "No wonder you're still a millionaire, you're a tight cúnt!". Mental!

Correct, but mortgages are money owed to the bank so have to be deducted.

Edit: I made all of that up by the way. :(

This is why I never let on to women how much I'm worth. If they can't love me for me and are only interested in how big my bank balance is, they're not worth it. It's funny how in the last 5 or 6 years or so more and more Irish women seem to have become obsessed with money and only go for guys who have a fat wallet and a flash car. I know this debate has raged here on Boards over and over in the past and I'm not trying to start another one but I've definitely seen it myself, and a lot of my friends have also said to me that they've come across it themselves increasingly over the past few years.

Personally, I blame that 'Sex & The City' shíte. I reckon it started putting mad notions into the heads of all of the young wans in this country! :D

As for how much I'm worth myself, well, I'm fairly careful with money and not short of a few bob, that's all I'll say (don't want the gold-diggers coming after me! :D ). ;)

Most aren't - but you gotta guard against the few that are.

I am going to take the risk here and label men the same way they label women. They go after looks first, so they deserve every shallow cow they come across.

In fairness, men and women will express their hatred for the opposite sex every other day on AH and on PI, broaden your mind, and realise it is a two way thing, and they are people you choose. Stop blaming everyone else.
