Actually, Amz recently recommended I give kilts a try. Apparently I have the "build" for one...

    /me wipes away drool

    Yeah, I could see that

/wanders off in reverie about beardy men in kilts...

btw, is it beardie, or beardy?

I have always used the latter, but I have never heard of any hard ruling on the matter.

I think when one refers to two beardy men they become 'beardies'.

    Probably.

Maybe I should give this kilt thing a try. I've always been looking for an excuse to walk around with a razor-edged claymore in both hands...

Would you mind putting your legs up so that I can sweep under there!!

It's just so cosy we're starting to snooze off. We need a hot new trend. When I was a teenager we used to play 'bag skating'. Tie a plastic bag around each stockinged foot and whizz around the carpets. (invented by me) It was loads of fun, but more than a little dangerous, especially around glass coffee tables.

If any of you do this and injure yourselves* don't try to sue boards/me.

    *Highly likely

Ah, I had a massive bunny teddy. I would hold onto his ears while I rode him down the stairs.

I had a giant seal teddy that was also used as a stair toboggan...mucho funno. I also used to tie the wheel blocks a for a lego train to my feet and use them as skates, sometimes on the stairs. Suprisingly I never ended up in hospital as a child.

PS I like cake and think someone should make me one

does anyone know if you can cook pork pies in the microdeelywave?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,967 ✭✭✭✭Sarky

There's nothing you can't cook in a microwave oven.

Be sure to leave the tinfoil wrapping on. It'll give you something to look at while you're waiting for the pie to cook.

Only if you put an egg in your microwave and turn it on for a few minutes,
    4 should do.

    Then you may join.
