kickstarted an intense relationship that led to me flunking out of college and taking a completely different career path and life choices.

Regrets are silly tbh, the way i see it is that, everything you have or have not done has shaped ya to be who ya are. ya did or didnt do everything for the right reason at the time,or didnt know what the heck ya were doing whichever applies. ya dwell on regrets and it drives ya insane, i know this for a fact so now i live by the regrets are silly!

I've you'd asked me this a year ago, I would have said that I regretted moving home from Waterford to be with my b/f... but now that I'm single over a year, I think it was the best decision I've ever made... I just regret staying with him as long as I did now!

Ya know i would be of the same thinkin, but at the sametime theres two things, that although they have shaped who i am, i would feel better if i had approached them better. Nothing big as such, but at the same time i feel ive done wrong and let myself down. But such is life, ill carry on bravely!

i regret spending too much time on the beer in college and not finishing my course.
i regret being naive towards people, who just end up hurting me.
i regret keeping certain things to myself and feel them eating away at me for years.....still eating away at me and probably will until i get the courage to tell someone.

same, i think when you like someone it can sometimes blind you a little to their faults that you mightn't put up with so quickly if you didnt really like them.

i regret not having the courage in my teens that i have now to deal with men. ohh and i regret going out with a certain person when i was 19, such consternations it caused me (and still causes me, because of mutual friends).

ohh yeh and i wish i could be more forward and less shy with fellas when making moves and that i would not care so much what other people think of me.

    I have the following regrets:

Not sticking with a relationship longer in my early 20's.
Not having dated more people and a wider range of people (I date engineers who are also writers).
Not learning how to drive when I was younger.
Not doing engineering in college at first (am doing it now).
Not having made my mum look after her health better.
Not having dealt with my grannys illness several years ago better.
    Not having met my grandfather.

There are other regrets but in the end these things have made me who I am - if my life had panned out any other way I really do not know how I would have got through the past year which has been the hardest in life thus far.

She lives f**king miles away, I probably won't see her again for f**kin AGES now! What was I thinking? What did I really have to lose?

    IDIOT, Seb, IDIOT.

P.S. I really hope her or friends do not peruse this forum... Cr*p.
