I have something similar with Eir. They keep sending me bills and texts saying I owe them €100 from an account I had back in 2018. I don't owe them anything. I will never forget having to call them and being on hold for nearly an hour at the time. Even had an collections agency call me and I told them it was paid and then they did their checks and confirmed I didn't owe anything and yet still eir send me a bill and text each month. 8 years now

I had the precise same situation with a crowd in Europe somewhere, the piece would have (and did eventually) fit in an envelope. It was coming from China, they wanted me to do the same thing as your lot are suggesting. I said it was a stupid solution, sending a large, heavy box halfway round the world for me to take out a piece then repack and send it back. Mine also was half built. In the end I posted a review stating exactly what was happening, and immediately I received the envelope with the part I needed.

Tramore? Murder going on there with similar problem. Entrances narrowed to a point where long wheel base vehicles have to mount the kerb. This "narrowing" is supposed to be for safety reasons. I think these (in)active travel planners have absolutely no idea who the real world works and if they actually drive they are probably the same muppets who's cars are photographed and put on sites like you park like a c*nt.

Having to throw away another pair of runners after only a few months use.

The plastic bit at the heel wears through and cuts above my heel.

You can get those restored in specialist places. Just For Kicks on Pembroke St in Dublin does it. I have the same problem, but only ever on the right foot, for some reason.

A client got a notice for a job fair in their speciality, email just gave the location details and reminder to bring cv's, messaged sender back to has how many they would need/how many employers in their field would be there? the response, they are to give to the employers!

12 days have now passed. Still nothing…

ive sent another message and a reply now as I type…. The crux of that email… “ the processing has become stuck “. and they will contact another team to look into it and I’m to allow a further 24-48 hours for their response.

😵😵😵 this is only my 3rd transaction with them but as soon as it arrives, IF it arrives the account is being closed.

Thought I was going to expire from the heat on the bus home this evening. Definitely driving into work tomorrow.

Also, popped into Penneys earlier for a few last bits for my holliers earlier and literally all the summer gear is beige, brown or khaki. Where's the colour, lads???

I'm sure I can feel my body swelling up in this heat, my fingers are actually getting painful.

My neighbours are having a barbecue, beautiful smell wafting over the wall but no invite.

I'm too tired/hot to do anything so I decided to do a kinda home facial but I can't open any of the little bottles because my hands are slipping off them, tried to wrap a cloth around them but due to swelling fingers I've no strength.

The water in the shower is too hot even with the dial completely turned down.

I really am enjoying the weather but I'm just not able 😁. I'm lucky work is grand, the office is in the shade hence I'm in no hurry leaving in the evenings…hope my boss is noticing this. 😊

I feel you on this one. I've posted here before about people making random comments to me on my build (I'm a big un). Last weekend somebody I didn't know said I'm a huge scary beast :(

Big scary monsters have feelings too you know.

TA - I have unsubscribed several times, following every possible path, from Academia.edu and still they plague me, now with emails, even though I unsubscribed specifically from emails. I tried again and got a page saying 'are you sure you want to miss out on x, x and x. Then the emails disappear, but still the vanishing notifications come.

You have a brother here, I finally deleted the account and unlinked the Google email/account that I signed up with.

Seems to have stopped now, I was blitzed with emails and unsubscribe did nothing possibly because they were using multiple email addresses.

TA at the fact that a small drop of water accidentally spilt can appear like a flood as it goes around the floor. Also TA that I hadn't emptied the vase from which I spilt the water, instead of leaving it where I did. Ah well.

Those damned tomato ketchup and vinegar sachets that absolutely refuse to tear when you struggle to open them. Had to enlist the help of a young and strong server recently and he managed to open one after a bit of a battle. Horrible inventions.
