In North Mayo, 178 for the month, 20% down on Feb 2025 but still 63% above Jan - unreal that some people are down on Jan, the East coast has had awful weather for the last few weeks

259 kWh. 7.83 kWp installed South facing, east Offaly.

Does anyone have a battery with a sigenergy inverter? Looking into battery options and it seems I am tied to a sigenergy battery which is more expensive than most🙄

A terrible month for solar in coastal Louth : 219kWh from a 9kWp E/W split which compares poorly with 277 in 2025 and even worse compared to 329kWh generated in 2024.

Incidentally January was no great shakes at 155kWh compared to 194kWh last year and 171kWh in 2024.

    For February:

192kWh generated - 6.72kW system facing ESE in South Dublin.

    350kWh consumed.

Generation down on February 2025 (242kWh) and February 2024 (307kWh).

In February, self-used 44% of electricity generated and fed in the other 107kWh (no battery).

Since initial installation on March 7 2023, a total of 23.52MWh generated, 16.17MWh fed to grid, with a self-use ratio of approximately 31%.

My solar installation (8.3kWp, E/W) went live just before the end of Feb 2025, and now a full year later, the total electricity bill for the last 12 months are …. drum roll please…. 7 euros. :D

It's an average sized four bed semi detached with four occupants, AND an EV that did about 13000 kms in the 12 months with 95% home charging and 1.6 people working from home.

At this rate, the install should pay for itself in about 9 years if we consider just the electricity usage, but given we are also saving about 1000 euro on petrol per year, it will be much earlier than that (if nothing else goes wrong, price and fit stays same etc) - touch wood.

9.68 kW all facing south, Galway.

    Jan - 298 kWh

    Feb - 333 kWh

March so far up the 18th - 363 kWh

Best generation day so far in 2026 was March 6th at 48 kWh, forecast for tomorrow is good hopefully it'll challenge that.

    Feb was 178kWh

with a few hours to go, March is at 537kWh - just over three times the amount.

First month of being able to take advantage of the Pinergy export rate since I installed my 30kWh battery back in November. Now that the heat pump is not coming on, I have plenty of spare battery capacity at the end of the day. Total PV was 599kWh which is about 40kWh more than last year.

First positive cost energy month—roll on the summer!

hmmm wasn't really expecting it as there hasn't been a lot of consecutive all day blue skies , but this March is the highest yield I've had since I added panels in March 2023. I guess the main thing was that there were few really "crap days" …..and that it's been solid generation for a lot of days rather than a week or so of epic days followed by rain etc. Nice to see after the rubbish Feb we had.

    image.png

Beat last year by 1.8% and PVGIS by 17%. I'll take that.

Total of 418Kwh off a 6.5Kwp split E/W in south Dublin city with my Shed (2.3Kwp due south) adding in a very tidy 172Kwh, so 590Kwh in total.

March is comparable with previous years

New development: a firmware update now allows me to force export. That changes the supplier equation a little.
