A roofing company was here today to clean my roof. A proper registered insured company with quotes, invoices and very high prices.

I did quite a few hours trimming my garden hedge then picking up cuttings and dragging over 10 bags to the communal skip for garden cuttings.

What does my roofer who sees me sweeping, raking, cleaning and taking my money do? Flicking cigarettes butts off the roof down onto the ground. Then when he left and emailed me an invoice I looked out my small dormer window and see a cigarette butt on the roof That will roll between my clay tiles and be found one day in the distant future. Or roll into my gutter and what did I just pay for

I'm told not to trust anyone who knocks on the door but when you engage a proper roofer they treat you like dirt anway 😡

The least they can get is expedited care when they fall ill at work, looking after ill people.

Used to live in Bradford and you should here what the young Indian and Pakistani kids call each other. The P work would be used all the time often combined with the B word suggesting unmarried parentage.
