Fergal Hartley has just one son, Mark, you may be thinking of Colm Hartley who is his nephew and is a good hurler also. Eoin Kelly has 3 sons I think, a couple of them are handy alright. eldest played senior for Passage this year I think. As far as I'm aware, both Ken and Mullane have a son each, though both very young at the moment. Paul Flynn has a son but not sure if he is strong enough for county yet.

Andy moloneys son meant to be handy aswell. came on in the harty last week for de la salle and got 3 lovely points. He’s only 15. Brian flannery has a son playing for mount sion think he’s around the 15 age group aswell

I see Ballygunner are on TG4 Sunday 1.15 and the other semi final on TG4 player, anyone here if Ballygunner refused to play in Dungarvan or was it not a runner, I know the pitch had issues earlier in the year. I'm sure TG4 would have wanted the game in Ennis shown at 1.15 and Ballygunner game at 3.15.

Suppose logically makes more sense to play in Walsh Park. Been on early means no need for Floodlights (Floodlights and Walsh Park is another topic worth discussing)

Another reason might be that Eire Og played a Football game this weekend and assume featuring some dual players

Both TG4 games are on 1.15 on Sunday as Ennis and Walsh Park don't have lights, I'm sure TG4 would have pushed for Dungarvan as they would definitely want them on at separate times.

February 1: Galway v Cork; Offaly v Tipperary; Waterford v Limerick. Bye: Kilkenny.

February 7/8: Cork v Tipperary; Limerick v Kilkenny; Waterford v Offaly. Bye: Galway.

February 21/22: Kilkenny v Waterford; Offaly v Galway; Tipperary v Limerick. Bye: Cork.

February 28/March 1: Galway v Waterford; Kilkenny v Cork; Offaly v Limerick. Bye: Tipperary.

March 21: Cork v Offaly; Limerick v Galway; Tipperary v Kilkenny. Bye: Waterford.

Tough fixtures there but I think we'd all much prefer this than trips to the likes of Portlaoise, Mullingar, Carlow etc. The hard work starts now…..
