Give it to him/her in a bit of chicken. My dog takes her meds like that.

    Sorry to hear also.

Email at work with the immortal prose "…exasperated the situation." Sender meant exacerbated. Have people never "herd" of proof reading?

People copy and pasting lists on to the site.

If viewing on mobile they come out super long with the text all broken and spaced out weirdly making them a pain in the anus to read.

Home for a little break between TWO over-time shifts, FIL happened to be visiting for like five minutes.

In that window, he swiped the last two squares of Golden Crisp I had set aside for my tay.

I mean who presumes they are there to be taken?

Getting a notification of "Out for delivery" from Fastway - means will arrive tomorrow if I'm lucky.

People have murdered for less and been found innocent. Get him a Golden Crisp bar for Christmas or his birthday, whichever comes first, minus the squares he stole. That'll teach him.

Terri Prone nearly lost her face among other injuries in a bad car accident a few years back .

Hence the sneer you describe, which is just facial nerve damage and totally not voluntary .

I thought this was common knowledge .. she was on some TV program talking about how she survived against the odds . She is very connected to all things media. Used to run Carr Communications with the famous Bunny " Quicksilver" Carr and has advised most politicians and media personalities etc in how to communicate in an interview .

Not a personal fan but she is a formidable lady . Very intelligent . Think that's where Anto gets it although the dad Tom RIP was a clever man too . Got out of the priesthood and married her !

Wife bought two lovely Christmas vases on Temu. Except they weren't vases, they were cardboard cutouts.

It does stop, doesn't it? Eventually?

Hey at least you cant be blamed for smashing the vase 'facade'!

My TA is that it feels like Halloween should be occurring tonight or some point over the bank holiday weekend.

Working today with a very positive person. He is helpful but he's too much. Me being a bit grumpy dosen't really help matters. Can't wait to get away from him.

Brought my youngest to exercise his constitutional right to vote this morning .

Only realized when we got there that the voting station had changed venue ! This after years of same place 🙈

Shoulda read the polling card I know .

Excercised our constitutional in more ways than one as a result .

I have dinner at 1/2 ish

    Tea at 6ish

Lunch was always something I had at school or work usually sandwiches .

It's It's only since Friends that I've heard of people having dinner at 7 or so .

My TA with voting was not being able to vote in any polling station in my ward, even if I brought polling card and photo ID.
I'd be passing a polling station on the way to work I couldn't use. So instead would have to take a detour in other direction to get to the polling station I could use.
I can understand some limits on voting anywhere but this was all for the same set of candidates!

It's always been Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for as long as I can remember.

Tea was always the English way of saying it.

If I've the main meal at mid-day then doesn't feel right to call the smaller meal taken later in the day 'dinner'. It'd either be 'tea' or supper depending on timing.

⁷Believe me in farming communities dinner was spuds, 2 veg and meat at 1 ish . Different for people working off farm maybe

It may have been, I'm a Dub but my Grandad (also Dub) called his meal at 13:00 dinner too and always wrecked my head.

Most restaurants have "lunch" menus that stop at 16:00.

Different times I'm very glad that I don't have to have spuds, 2 veg and meat everyday at 13:00!

Working today with a very negative person. Trying hard to help him to lighten the mood, but its tough. He's a grumpy f***er which doesn't really help matters. Can't wait to get away from him.

Same, if we had dinner in the middle of the day what we ate in the evening would be your tea.

TA that since I left home (a long, long time ago) I have never had the Sunday dinner routine. Roast dinner in the day and a little fry for your tea, I loved a Sunday 😁

I was being nice calling him positive. Why feel the need to jump around, never stop talking and just be an annoying fucker?

Read the room. I have no interest in what you are saying.
