Hmmm looks a bit different to mine. I used to get €5 off €25 each week and I was able to share them with diff clubcard users

you can still share them with others as once you send them to someone and they use it they go on their card I am not sure if they are also on the card of the person who sends it. I know this as there’s a lady who sends me hers and I send her SuperValu ones. It is brilliant for me as I never get Tesco ones probably as I spend too much there.

Got my first 5 off 25 vouchers from Tesco. Not entirely sure what triggers them.

And, then to my surprise, I realise I have 5 of the vouchers to use.

I'm a regular user of the Dunnes ones, so this is new to me.

Just wondering about freezer worthy items that I could stock up on. Items that are already cheap, even before the coupon.

    Any suggestions?

I had a €7 off €35 just show up on my account. One use only. Weird amount

Same as others, a 20% off. Maybe you shop there regularly and they sent you a higher threshold bar?

Nothing for me, shop Tesco weekly and rarely get them

I would say it's a major factor in determining where some people do their main shop. It is Dunnes for me because of the vouchers, now I need a rethink. Nice to see the competition.

Still looking for suggestions on freezer worthy items that I could stock up on. Items that are already cheap, even before the coupon.

Nothing cheaper, just the same or pricier than others https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/en-IE/shop/frozen-food/all?sortBy=price-ascending&count=24

Stock up on rice, lentils, pasta, chickpeas, baked beans, kidney beans, sweetcorn, dozen cans of tomatoes, cornflour, flour,..

I got coupons the past two months one 12 off 60 too but nothing this time I notice that no one has coupons up on Facebook either so maybe they didn't send any this time

Just got another 6 5 off 25 vouchers.

Pity the post Christmas bargains seem not to be. What happened to those piled high boxes of mince pies I saw late on Christmas Eve? Not a box to be seen after Christmas reopening.

Are these coupons in the post or emailed?
I shop in Tesco every week and haven’t got €5 off vouchers ever as far as I can remember.
I’ve coupons alright- 20c off lettuce etc.

I got a message about coupons in the app, but no €5 ones for me, just some rather measly ones eg 60c off any frozen fish.

I'm not a big Tesco shopper. Mostly Dunnes, but these vouchers have turned my head

I wonder how they divy out the vouchers?

It seems to me it’s only if you shop there occasionally as opposed to every week, so as to entice you to shop there all the time.

Have two club cards on my phone I shop there once a week and never get any vouchers. Not using one of the clubcards for good few months has made no difference.

I think that is part of it, but there's something more going on. Not sure if it's location or what you buy or level of spend.

During covid, I did all shopping with Tesco click and collect. I switched to Dunnes and still do main shop there with occasional Tesco shops. A couple of times I got spend and save type coupons in the app e.g. €10 off €50 spend. I only used a few and then they stopped.

I think the algorithm has me down as a lost cause now!

I occasionaly shop at Tesco, have never gotten vouchers. I've a family member who only shops at Tesco, and has also never gotten vouchers. Only vouchers they get are the clubcard ones (like the Dunnes ones).

I'm just about to finalise an order for just over €100, will be interesting to see if I get any vouchers this time. I doubt it.

Apart from booze and fancy bread, a lot (most) of the items I've bought in Tesco in the past have been bargain bin items. I'm an outlier, for sure, but it is still puzzling as I've now received three sets of them. Seems like Tesco is testing a response to Dunnes vouchers which I think have been very successful. Funnily enough, Lidl is the laggard now on bargains, but that is not reflected in their market share figures. Go figure.

I shop in Tesco nearly daily as I work beside one, about €20 per day. Lately I've been getting €5 off €25 and vouchers on random products, save €1 on any cheese, save 60c on any juice. Things like that.

I also use the scan as you shop every time I'm in and I haven't been security checked in months. Not sure if that's any way related but it's something to note.

As expected, no vouchers. The order was €209 in total.

There were bits in that order for others as well, I'd normally never spend that much in one shop, only for a few of us clubbing in together it came to that.

If I was spending €200 or thereabouts each week/month, I'd be sticking with Dunnes, their vouchers make it better value for me personally.

In clubcard points I have €2.50. Think I'll convert them to AVIOS when I'm booking flights later in the year.
