This was 'decided' before October 7th.

It was obviously their plan for a very long time. Just needed a pretext

    Ban billionaires

Some guy will be along any moment now to say "but what about hamas"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 23,248 ✭✭✭✭2smiggy

It's almost as if they let the 7th October attacks happen. They had explosives in 300 pagers, yet knew nothing about an attack coming from men using home made hand gliders, from a concentration camp created by the isrealis, and let them return to Gaza with hundreds of hostages.

I was about to post the same. It seems unthinkable that they'd let their own people be butchered in order to create a scenario that mitigates their actions.

But it's Netanyahu, so who knows. If it ever comes out in Israel that he had advance knowledge of Hamas' attack, he'll be praying for a trial by the ICJ

Alleged War Criminal #1 (at large) has point blank refused an inquiry into Oct 7th even though more than 80% of Israelis want one.

    Very telling.

Yes,considering how successfully Israeli intelligence compromised Hezbollah and the Iranian military,It's very hard to believe Hamas could plan such a large scale operation without Israeli intelligence getting wind of it- especially considering how many operatives were involved. Also the fact the area is one of the most surveilled on earth. Hamas are just using paragliders for recreational purposes( nothing to see here).

Having said all that surely there would be people in the intelligence community who would not knowingly commit career suicide for the political ideology of others. That's before you even consider the morality of it all.

I'm noticing less and less from Israels defenders in this thread. It's just getting harder and harder to defend Israel. I think even they have a limit where they just walk away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,514 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

I think the penny finally dropped with the international community and media in the last three weeks that Israel is a rogue state committing genocide in Gaza. Anyone still supporting the regime at this point is pretty much announcing to everyone that they support genocide and war crimes, no matter what way they try to deny it or dress it up.

They had to know, its impossible their intelligence wouldn't have picked it up in advance. They let it happen so it gave them an excuse.

When this is all over and the truth comes out there will be a lot of re-regs on here. These lads know the truth and they back what Israel is doing. Don't forget that. The '' region's only democracy'' is in tatters and a pariah state now but posters still back it.

Not just on here, loads and loads of people including politicians, sports stars, celebs and others will be claiming they opposed the genocide all along. Expect to see mass deletions of Israel supporting social media posts.

One of the reasons Israel monitors everything the foreign media do and not allow them into Gaza

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 551 ✭✭✭freebritney

I see the other ghouls who used to be on here calling us anti-semities for questioning Israels actions still posting away on other forums. I remember them saying Israel would never target a hospital after they bombed Al-Alhi, calling us anti-semitic for saying Israel controlled the US Congress, saying there was no such thing as the Hannibal directive etc etc. Everyone was a Hamas supporter, it all started on Oct 7th, Israel isn't an apartheid state, the most moral army in the world, it's all gone now, the curtain has been pulled back and we see the little man at the controls.

It's been an absolute eye opener on how evil can prosper. I have found it hard to comprehend at times. What puzzled me the most was the refusal of certain posters to answer questions. Only the pro-Israel posters. I mean I know it's an anonymous forum but not answering direct questions comes across to be as extremely dishonourable. Their motivations are nearly more clear when they refuse to answer straight questions. You would hope they find their stance embarrassing at this stage but the lack of empathy runs very very deep.

As always, well done to @dmcdona for keeping us enlightened in a dark period.

They should be made walk through Gaza and witness what they've supported like the allies did with the German civilians in the concentration camps in 1945. At least the Germans civilians could claim they didn't know what was happening.

Worth listening to the interview with the British doctor on News at One. Harrowing. He has been going to Gaza for 15 years. Professor Nick Maynard.

    Land grab by the zionists

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,604 ✭✭✭✭TheValeyard

Complete land grab. It's what they always wanted. And they'll get away with it too with the orange baboon in the white house.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Id also blame Germany too. They let Israel get away with everything because of their guilt.

It's like a mother letting their kid act out and turn into a complete sh1t because the dad was a cnut.

I think even the germans are coming around.

    https://www.spiegel.de/international/

    https://www.spiegel.de/international/world/our-children-are-dying-before-our-eyes-israel-is-starving-the-gaza-strip-a-e02e8152-abf9-4756-a2d8-9fd322731940

And this article is talking about their local journalist in gaza. She and her colleagues are now too weak to work.

    https://www.spiegel.de/international/world/der-spiegel-journalist-in-gaza-dont-allow-ghada-to-die-a-cc941ee4-3fe9-4abd-bb4b-8bad52864db7

But we hadn’t expected that hunger would also present a risk to her life. There has been a lack of sufficient food supplies in Gaza for several months, and prices in shops and at markets have skyrocketed. But last Friday, Ghada said for the first time that she wouldn’t be able to deliver a scheduled interview on time. She was so weak and exhausted from hunger, she said, that she couldn’t think clearly – and was suffering from "terrible headaches.” She apologized.

Over the weekend, her condition grew worse. When we spoke over the phone on Monday, she spoke slowly with an audibly heavy tongue. She said that she had only been able to eat a few spoonfuls of beans and a small piece of bread. From the little that she and her brother still had, she said, they were giving almost all of it to the children. She is unable to access the money in her account because of the extremely high commissions being demanded by the payout offices and the lack of security all around.

She said she is afraid of the other starving people on the streets: "People here are turning into beasts.” She knows, Ghada wrote me, that she is strong, but she said she is unable to fight off this creeping death. She said that she spends her days crying – and drinking lots of water so that there is at least something in her stomach.

At the beginning of the week, the French news agency AFP wrote of their own Palestinian colleagues in Gaza who are also unable to work any longer because of hunger: "We refuse to watch them die." The same is true for our colleague Ghada.

Once again, I'd like to see one of the pro starvation, pro genocide, people try to justify this.

All Bibi needs to do to stop this is let the trucks in, let aid get distributed.

IDF and Netanyahu are just scum of the earth if they annex the whole strip.

If by 'they' you mean all Zionists, both Jewish and Christian, that's a lot of people. These nutjobs honestly think that when Israel controls the entire region then it will usher in the second coming of Christ and they don't give a toss who they have to murder to make it happen. Their denial is simply off the scale - you could march them through Gaza and they would find a way to not believe what they're seeing.

Its actually amazing I can still be shocked at Israeli perfidy, but that's unbelievable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,248 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

The world needs to open their eyes to the terrorist, genocidal state. Israel, correctly, identified that the media is key to their genocide - target and murder the local media and deny the western media access so they can frame the narrative. It is utterly sickening that the western media mollycoddled Israel for so long.

I heard that earlier. How anyone could listen to what he was saying and respond with 'but Hamas' or accusations of anti-Semitism is beyond me at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,104 ✭✭✭✭Cluedo Monopoly

Another great excuse for genocide or famine is "war is hell" or "war is vicious". The mind boggles.

The lies have nowhere to go any more, so there's not much point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Suckler

Hamas has controlled distribution of aid and has hidden command centres in hospitals and has thus violated the hospitals' legal protection and so, in those cases, the IDF is relieved of its obligation not to fire into a hospital, just like it would've been OK for the Allies to sink a German hospital ship if it was being used to transport munitions to German forces in either of the world wars.

Of all the inaccuracies and posts lacking a scintilla of common sense and/or knowledge; this one really has the potential to be the most idiotic thing posted in this thread. Not a shred of critical thinking nor actual knowledge of WW2 analogies (again and again) being reworked and wheeled out to support an utterly unending stupid thought process.

Given that the majority of past genocides happened during wartime, this is the most demented claim of the lot from the Zionists. Saying that genocide, starvation and mass murder of innocent civilians is a natural outcome or by-product of any conflict is quite outrageous.
