Even ordinary Jews and Israeli civilians are turning against the extreme violence and forced starvation of civilians in Gaza

I think the policy is mass starvation and bombing by the IDF there will only be a small amount of Palestinians lef alive and they will be sent off to a small part of Israel under total military control this is the final solution for the extreme conservatives which are in power right now

No major democrat politican wants to stand up and criticize Israel as they will lose the highly influencential Jewish vote There is a very powerful Jewish lobby in all parts of the media tv and print newspapers

Shock horror, it's possible for some of us to care about both Israelis and Palestinians. It's truly pathetic that it's got to a point where I have to actually state this.

Looking at the photos of the massive march for Gaza through Sydney a few hours ago (perhaps 100,000 people crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge) and all I can see on social media is absolutely enraged posts from Zionists calling them 'terrorists', 'Hamas supporters', 'cheerleaders for October 7th' etc. It's over for these maniacs.

Edit: even the Australian media are describing the march as 'extraordinary' and say such mobilisation of citizens is highly unusual for Australia.

Australian press say that the starvation of the people of Gaza was clearly the final tipping point ; far more people turned up for the march than anyone expected, even the organisers.

As for the regime supporting headbangers, they are shouting into the wind at this point…..nobody is listening to them.

And people like you fed on it like parasites, instead of showing any signs of self-introspection and questioning whether or not it's okay to starve a child with a serious pre-existing health condition; while knowing they also have no access to basic medical facilities or drugs to help him.

My point is that, just because you see a photo of an emaciated person, the photo on its own is not proof that starvation is the cause.

The photo on its own should be enough to open your eyes to the dire situation. You say yourself that kids appear emaciated. Is that okay with you? Forget about the root cause and just consider how it cannot be rectified when Israel have bombed hospitals and not provided any field hospitals in response. When they have killed aid workers, and hired people to replace them with people who directly shoot those seeking aid.

This particular comment has pissed me off. I hope you're a troll because I'm taking personal offence at the comparison of Bloody Sunday and what's happening in Gaza. It is historically inaccurate and insulting to victims of both atrocities, especially lining it with some bullshit hypothetical.

Even if a hospital is being misused, the presence of civilians and protected infrastructure does not nullify all legal obligations. The burden of proof is on Israel to justify necessity and proportionality, this hasn't happened.

Hospital ships are protected under the Hague Convention and the Geneva Conventions.

UN agencies, WHO, UNICEF, and independent medical workers have directly observed and reported malnutrition and starvation, they have not inferred it from photos alone. I'd also add that the Israeli siege and blockade, destruction of bakeries, cutting off aid routes, and statements like “no food, no water, no fuel” (Yoav Gallant) create direct state responsibility.
