Forecast is for rain all day tomorrow. I think Tipp will be happier than Cork about that.

As i said a few days ago let it rain. It didn't do us any harm in 1999 and 2004 after all! Rain, hail or shine this Cork team is more than good enough to get the job done tomorrow.

They both have to play in the same conditions. If Cork are the team we think they are, then they should get the job done tomorrow.

I always think the players probably have fewer nerves than fans just because things are in their control to a far greater extent, at least if they're in the starting fifteen. Like in our semi final I was nervous from start to finish watching it (rightly so since we made a balls of it) but when I've been playing in a big match myself (at a much, much lower level, but it would still mean at least as much to me as an inter county match!) I have never felt nearly as much nerves, just because there are things you need to think about both in the run up to the match and during it: what your job is, who you're marking, what aspects of your game you need to focus on or improve etc. Whereas as fans all we can do is sit there and hope.

Anyway, all that aside, best of luck to Cork from a kk man. Never thought I'd be saying that but then again ye never played tipp in a final…mainly just hoping horgan retires with a medal, felt the same about Canning a few years back. Also like the brand of hurling ye play, and I spent my childhood summers in carrigtwohill where my mother grew up. But mainly it's just because you're playing tipp!

Safe travels to those heading off. Will be tight but we are good enough to win this.

Still without a ticket. On the road up now, if anyone hears of any becoming available I’d be massively grateful.

    Up the rebels.

It was a case of loads of us thinking and expecting that cork will win, but nobody saying it out loud.

We were once winners but it's been well beaten out of us now. We have a serious problem performing in all Ireland finals. The fallout in Cork from this is going to be vicious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,324 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    Ah **** sake.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,531 ✭✭✭Straight Talker

Hoggie will be retiring without that all Ireland medal. They've finally broken me. Cork hurlers no longer know how to win. We are just Waterford and Mayo with more of a history now. We are now losers, bottlers and chokers sadly.

His body language was all wrong.

I thought this would be the year, that the team had turned the corner but its the same old failings.

Tipp have been bang average, but Cork have just been atrocious.

They are cursed in Croke Park, simply cant do it outside Munster.
