Every team employs sports psychologists. The biggest professional teams in the world do no matter what age the players are.

I think it's wrong to demean Curid and what she achieved.

A bit over the top reaction from some on here, this Limerick team won't be remembered for today, they'll be remembered for winning 5 out of 6 All Irelands, insane really for a county that hadn't won an All Ireland in nearly 50 years. Probably only Cody's great Kilkenny team would rank above them. Today will go down as probably the biggest shock in hurling since Antrim beat Offaly in 89 to reach the All Ireland final. It is the end of an era for Limerick, but, Limerick are still amongst the best teams in the country, may not feel like that this evening.

This era had to end sometime, likely a few down years to come, the team needs some refreshing, as looked tired today, but Limerick will be back and will remain competitive over the next few years.

thought we’d have enough today. Team and management probably thought so as well especially with Dublin going down to 14 so early. Touch and intensity poor all game and led to a lot of scores being conceded. Massive holes around middle sector which were exploited and led to Dublin players streaming through and getting off shots. Lost the ground battle for breaking ball which is always going to lead to trouble. Probably the end for a few lads as certain starters and a few difficult decisions to be made. Up to others to stake their claim for a starting spot next year.

Did Currid show Limerick how to tackle, how to run, how to score and more importantly how to control the ball from a pass? All seemed to be well off by Limerick yesterday?
