    I don't think so. I would say an auto-email will be generated when the pre-auth occurs.

    The pre-auth needs to happen with click & collect, so as soon as the item is marked as collected, payment in taken at the same time and a receipt is emailed out.

    As @Doomofman man suggested, let the nerves settle and relax. Smythes order system works very well.

    That's odd… I have an email from DPD saying my order was dispatched on 01/06/25. Maybe they are under orders not to deliver them until tomorrow or something

    Nothing arrived today anyway so I'm guessing it will be tomorrow, this is the first time ever a smyths pre-order didn't arrive a day early so my gamble hasn't paid off sadly haha!

    I'd say you have the same mail as the rest of us from the 1st
    The order was received but the package wasn't is my understanding.

    The package itself will be collected tonight for delivery tomorrow.

    I'm looking forward to this evening, but not sure how my account shenanigans is going to work.

    As my son plays his Switch on the go, his is registered as the main device, and my Switch as the second.

    Now with the Switch 2, I'm going to have to go through the authorisation nonsense all over again!

    And at midnight too!

    Plus, I am working tomorrow, so... feck

    So the review embargo for the console and MK is tomorrow due to the day 1 update. But what about countries where it's already tomorrow? Have they got their day 1 updates? Will those going to the midnight launch be able to do the update?

    The day 1 update is available already since it's released in Australia & NZ, there's youtube videos of gameplay already coming out.

    Yep the email says that, but if you click the link further below in the email to track your parcel online - you’ll see the real status. Mine says order received/awaiting parcel. For sure Smyths did not dispatch any Switches last Sunday. 🙂
