    I was keeping eye on house no. 17. Its in lindenville blackrock. But asking was 950k and went for 1.225m. Small north facing garden. Big house but semi D with small garden and poor aspect for 1.2m. seems mad

    I mean, they are not wrong. We desperately need housing, but the people those house bring need infrastructure. Politicians are only interesting in housing numbers at the moment, but we are largely neglecting the fact that these communities will need schools, creches, shops, public transport etc.

    Yes. The often seems to be an attitude that because we have a housing crisis, planning requirements should go out the window. We'd have a long time to regret this.
