BANGERNOMICS (sub3k) of the week/day Part 7

Thanks. Yeah they're a car that I was initially never really into especially in saloon form, but I suppose because I have the A4 Avant, I always fancied trying a BMW Touring at some stage. It just ticked a lot of boxes for me. The other 3 cars are all pre 2008 and I finally wanted something with cheaper tax, so it's 280 a year and had the timing chain, clutch and flywheel replaced along with receipts and lots of receipts for other work carried out too including new front shocks and springs a few weeks ago and recent full service too. The guy owned it for almost 10 years and had really looked after it. It's high mileage, but that doesn't scare me at all if its well looked after. There's 230,000 miles on it and its so quiet inside with not a rattle and the leather is immaculate

As for it falling within Bangernomics territory, THAT'S why I now have FOUR cars in the drive. Bought it for €1800! [EDIT]Forgot to add, that it came with NCT until end of Sep, so I'll pop it through again soon once I'm within the 90 day window and also taxed until end of June[/EDIT]

When @littlevillage posted the saloon the other day, I went off looking at what was available with absolutely no intention of buying anything and then saw that advertised. Rang him right away and had a good chat and a couple of hours later I went to see it and brought it home
